Zanussi zx97/5W Fridge keeps getting warm...
If your Zanussi ZX97/5W fridge keeps getting warm, there could be a few possible causes:
- Thermostat malfunction: The thermostat controls the temperature inside the fridge. If it is malfunctioning, it may not be able to maintain the correct temperature, causing the fridge to get warm.
- Dirty condenser coils: The condenser coils are responsible for removing heat from the fridge. If they are dirty, they will not be able to function properly, causing the fridge to get warm.
- Door seal issue: If the door seal is damaged or not sealing properly, it can allow warm air to enter the fridge, causing the temperature to rise.
- Fan motor issue: The fan motor is responsible for circulating the air inside the fridge. If it is not working properly, it may not be able to circulate the air, causing the temperature to rise.
- Temperature control issue: If the temperature control is not set correctly, the fridge will not be able to maintain the correct temperature.

Zanussi ZX97/5SI fridge/freezer. Fridge part no
If the fridge part of your Zanussi ZX97/5SI fridge/freezer is no longer keeping cool, while the freezer part is still working fine, there could be a few possible causes:
- Thermostat malfunction: The thermostat controls the temperature inside the fridge. If it is malfunctioning, it may not be able to maintain the correct temperature, causing the fridge to get warm.
- Air circulation problem: If the air is not circulating properly inside the fridge, it may not be able to maintain the correct temperature. This could be caused by a dirty or blocked air vent, a malfunctioning fan motor, or a problem with the door seal.
- Evaporator coils are iced up: The evaporator coils are responsible for removing heat from the fridge. If they become iced up, they will not be able to function properly, causing the fridge to get warm.
- Compressor issue: The compressor is responsible for pumping refrigerant through the cooling system. If the compressor is not working properly, it may not be able to pump refrigerant through the system, causing the fridge to get warm.
- A malfunctioning control board: The control board is responsible for managing the functions of the refrigerator, if it's malfunctioning it may cause the fridge not to maintain the correct temperature.

How can I get to the evaporator fan in zanussi fridge freezer ZX97/5SI
Odds are the fan is in the freezer side...For some reason the cold air isn't getting to the freezer. In the back of the freeze part shoud be a channel that the cold air blows thru to cool the refer. Either the fan is not working...or working slow. or something is blocking the path of cold air. Dig into it. Shoud be an easy fix.

That is what we call short cycling. Most times the problem is caused by a defective start relay, overload and run capacitor. These parts can be located on the wires coming from the little box on the side of the compressor. Wish I could provide a photo but the parts dealers will most likely have a schematic and part numbers. The whole problem can also be brought on by a defective fan motor because the compressor works really hard to help cool but the compressor shuts down when it can not compress the Freon at high temperature. The problems listed are all related to what is happening when compressor stops and starts every minute. Try contacting

You need to check on the FREON gas that is necessary for the production of cold energy. If the gas has leaked out, there could be a bad line connection or a pin hole in the line. A technician has the gauges necessary to test lines and gas issues.
