New Toro 24 1/2 hp zero turn HD won’t start, and backfires VERY LOUD. Battery runs down, and won’t start. Tractor only has 21 hours on it.

Back firing could be an ignition, or valve timing issue, also check the function of the anti fire solenoid on the bottom of the carb float bowl ( you should hear this click as the ignition is switched on) you can also remove it and watch the centre pin retract when the ignition unit is switched on, next thing to check is that the flywheel key has not sheared, this will involve removing the flywheel, failing this remove the rocker box cover and make sure both valves are moving freely as the engine cranks, it could be a stuck valve.

Leaf Blowers types

* Handheld units are the most popular. Available in gas- or electric-powered versions, they're portable and convenient, yet powerful. These models can get heavy while using. Larger models can also vibrate a bit at full throttle. Consider the weight and balance of the unit when shopping. * Backpack leaf blowers are gas-powered. The blower fits in a harness that's worn on the operator's back. The hose reaches to the front where the user operates the throttle and blow or vacuum tube. Backpack blowers are normally used in larger areas. * Walk Behind leaf blowers cover the most acreage. Mounted on wheels, these gas-powered machines are normally the tool of choice for commercial users, but for regular homeowners, they can make short work of a home lawn. Vacuum units use a hose for picking up debris.

My toro 212-5 mower keeps spitting off the deck

You may need a new one. If that doesn't work you may have a bent pulley that's cause it to jump off or the barrings in one of your pulleys may be bad which would cause the pulley to wobble therefore throwing the belt off.

My toro snow blower starts but won't shift gears

Typical snow blower shifts by moving a drive wheel on a hexoganal shaped shaft. Likely the wheel has rusted to the shaft from insufficient maintenance.

Remove the rear/bottom cover plate to access the transmission (usually 4 bolts). Lubricate shaft/wheel with penetrating oil and work free.

Avoid getting oil on the drive wheel and disc or thoroughly clean the disc and wheel with a liberal application of alchohol until wiping with a rag comes clean.

Lubricate any drive chains as well.

I have a toro snow blower that dosnt idle write How do i fix this Problem

If you didnt treat fuel before storage last season then likely the carburetor is fouled. Try adding a fuel treatment e.g. Seafoam, but likely ithe carb will need a thorough cleaning or replacement.

Toro CCR 2450 snowblower won't start.

Try a short burst of starter fluid into the carburetor and promptly pull starter. If it runs for a couple seconds and quits then the carburetor is not delivering fuel.

If it doesnt run on starter fluid then either flooded, insufficient spark, or poor compression / crankcase leak.

My toro lx 420 won’t start, it cranks but won’t start it gets fuel, spark is good, starter is good, carb has been cleaned.

I have had the same issue with Toro. Finally took it to a local wizard. AFter about 5 minutes if him trying he suggested it would make a great boat anchor. Once Toro goes out of factory specs, that's just about it. A few lucky folks I know with Toro products either accidentally stumble on the just-right combinations or off to the lake they go.

Toro 71225 transmission or drive belt

Check and see if there is a shear or safety pin in one of the drive pulleys that has broken.See if there is a pulley that turns by hand when this happens. Could be one has broken but grabs for a little bit. Also check the drive belt and see if it is slipping Check all the drive areas . BE SAFE BY TAKING THE KEY OUT AND TRYING BY HAND>
