How to reset tissot t-touch after battery replace?

AC point is not located under the battery. It is at the edge of movement. Get an eyeglass with good magnification and you will find it.

Just got the battery replaced on my Tissot Supersport Chrono and now the chronograph buttons do not work. Any suggestions before I take it to a authorized repair shop?

Take it back to the shop that changed the battery. They have slightly misaligned the movement to the case. With a watch as good as a Tissot it is better to use a Tissot authorised dealer. My Seiko goes from Canada to London, UK for service.

How to set moon phase on tissot pr100

for Tissot PR100 Automatic Chronograph with moonphase, minute recorder, hour recorder and seconds subdials, to set the moonphase there is a sunken button between the chronograph start/stop and the winding crown. Using a pointed object such as a ballpoint pen, push the sunken pusher gently until the moonphase moves one step, (if you press the pusher completely in, it will also advance the calendar hand, so only press enough to move the moonphase and no more for moonphase adjustment)

"Tissot Touch" Touch screen failure

it all stems from the watch not actually being waterproof it's more water resistant than waterproof. The little indentations on the back that look like they are for a tool to unscrew it are actually holes i guess for the altimeter and meteo so it can sense pressure. Behind the back just behind the holes is a nylon gauze material and underneath this is a sensor slightly recessed and covered with some kind of waterproof substance. As far as i can see the problems lie here any water sweat or other foreign object than gets into this gauze will eventually will clog this gauze material which at first will affect the altimeter then the meteo. When the gauze has been clogged up severely i gets very dirty indeed which means when it gets wet it takes an age to dry out so if you wear it in the shower like i used to it will never dry out this causes the watch to malfunction quite severely. You can actually fix this problem yourself just get a very small flat screwdriver and lever the back off don't worry it's only a push fit and comes of easily you will see straight away a dirty damp smelly clogged up round piece of nylon gauze clean this up with a bit of WARM not boiling soapy water being careful not to disturb the pressure sensor and it's waterproof goo inside then dry it all and put it together
Hope this helps

Hi, I have tissot expert, when I changed the battery, all option work perfect but the screen to activate compass not working and the bip as well, maybe battery not suit the watch ?

It could be that you have purchased the wrong battery for your watch and you should take it to a person that repairs watches and jewelry then to figure out what type of battery that will work in your watch.

My Tissot touch will no

In this watch the battery should be changed after one year, depending on how often the features are used. After changing the battery the all reset should be done. Best to take it to an authorized service, and not any non authorized place to change the battery. Get in touch with Tissot for the info about where to bring the watch.

Battery Change on T-Touch

there usually is an AC contact point to reset digital watches. Touching the + and the ac point with a conductive wire usually resets the watch. Not sure about the spring- I'm not going to open my Tissot up unless I have to.

How do I reset my tissot t touch expert

Steps to Synchronize the Hands
  1. Press the centre pusher (T). The watch should beep once.
  2. Touch the centre of the touch-sensitive face until opt appears, in opt select 24H Cm (or 12H Fft or 24H Fft or 12H Cm) is shown in the digital LCD display.
  3. Press and hold the centre pusher (T) for approximately 5 seconds. The watch will beep once and then again, a second time, after 5 seconds have passed. After the second beep, the digital LCD display should read SYNCHRO. If not, return to step one.
  4. Press the upper pusher (+) to advance the hour hand until it is positioned exactly at 12:00. (PH press T button to to switch to minute hand adjust)
  5. Press the lower pusher (-) to advance the minute hand until it is also positioned exactly at 12:00.
  6. When both hands are aligned together and pointing directly at 12:00, press the centre pusher (T) to save the setting. The hands of the watch are now synchronized

My Tissot 1853 suddenly started to quickly run forward for 4 seconds and then rest for four seconds, doing that constantly. Is there a fix for this?

Hi. Can I assume this is a quartz powered watch? If so, sometimes, if thger bettery is either old or has started leaking hen is causes misfires in the time regulator.. First step would be chasnge battery & resdet the watch & monitor it. If this does not work, then put it into a Tissot service centre. Ifts not a quartz movement, there is no fault in a mechanical movement really that could cause this. Hope this helps.

Hi I have a Tissot Seastar 17 jewels manual wind 1964 mens watch. It runs, but is looses about 1/2 hr a day. Sometimes if i leave it face up on the table. It will run on time.

From your description it could be the main spring is broken, or there is a gear and or bushing failure. You will have to give the watch to a place that can service your watch. If you contact Tossot customer support they can advise you.

How to open the Tissot PR50 back to replace its battery?

A water resistant watch usually has a back that screws into the case and seals with a rubber O ring. Sometimes the back can be very tight to unscrew so even with the dedicated wrench it is difficult to remove without damage to the case. The professional would disconnect one end of the bracelet and clamp the case into a special holder. Once a non-dealer has replaced the battery it is usual to discover the back isn't replaced as tightly as original - this is reflected by the usual warning the watch will no longer be waterproof. The only way to retain the waterproof or water resistant quality is to have the battery replaced by a dealer or manufacturer when it will be, if required, pressure tested.
