Inferred controller loses contact with the S107G
Moving to solution section so more people will see it:Infrared is different band of electromagnetic spectrum from radio and is subject to the same problems as radio waves, namely, noise, transmitter problems, and receiver problems. the receiving antenna will not be a wire, it will be a infrared photocell. The sending "antenna" will be an LED.A few things to try..- make sure that nothing is covered on your handset and the helicopter that did not come that way- Switch channels- try a different location to see if anything in the environment is interfering, it could be something generating a lot of heat (including bright lights or sunlight) or another infrared device, like a remote control or some wireless devices like headphones and 3D video game systems with active shutter glasses.- turn everything else off where you are trying to fly - might have to unplug electronics and remove batteries from remotes to make sure they are not emitting- try linking a different helicopter or different controller that you know works to see if it is on one or the other of yoursI tried putting my hand over the emitter and the helicopter, and could not block the signal. I flew mine to the balcony out of site, and it still responded fine, so the signals bounce around enough quite a bit.
