They would normally sit in a groove under the turntable with a groove on top to hold them in place. I was hoping to find a Parts Schematic Diagram, but that model seems old and rare.

The sad news is that any purported manual for this item raises a warning of being a "risky site" which could download malware. At least that is what my Malwarebytes pops up. Several sites simply refuse to download, making me think my anti-virus is blocking them, probably for a good reason. The Sunbeam site offers a list of instruction manuals but does not include this particular model. That can't stop you from inquiring via their product support. If it is not making a humming noise, or any motor noise, there are far too many reasons. If you can hear the motor running, it will be the drive in the base. Take it to an appliance service shop.
