Likely door gasket not sealing right and compressor running too long before shuts off. Loose gasket will allow for moisture to enter.

how long have you had the fridge..sounds like it cud be a defect or malfunction coming from the factory like that if you haven had it for long and if you purchased it new,,but you shud be able to find another 1 here www.discountbargainprices.net

Thanks so much for the advice. I just gently pried the door sensor switch on my Samsung RB1855SL out with a butter knife and then pulled out the electrical connection and it fired up right away. It looks like some orange juice seeped in and corroded it. What a relief to have the fridge working again, not to mention to not have to listen to the beeping.
