I have a Galaxy Tab 2. I need to change the password. Can you help?
In order to change the password you must have the old password. If you don't have the old password which I assume is the case here, you must do a factory reset, you will loose all data other than what came on the tablet out of the box new, all of it. To do a factory reset just Google the make and model number and the words "factory reset" the instructions will show.
Why did it shut off and doesn't restart?
Is it recharging properly, might not be charged and is auto shutting down to save data.
Check your charger is working and the connection to the tab is good.
Bad fitting USB can cause failed charge.
