if its saying open it up to reset the battery..it means open it up and to take the battery out and put it back in. please let me know if this is what you are asking,or this is what its telling you to do.

In order to change the password you must have the old password. If you don't have the old password which I assume is the case here, you must do a factory reset, you will loose all data other than what came on the tablet out of the box new, all of it. To do a factory reset just Google the make and model number and the words "factory reset" the instructions will show.

Is it recharging properly, might not be charged and is auto shutting down to save data. Check your charger is working and the connection to the tab is good. Bad fitting USB can cause failed charge.
