Some of my Hi8 tapes play in fastforward motion

Clean the header of your camera. Buy a different camera to play those tapes. Try looking for a tape cleaner and tape lubrificant. Some tapes go so dry and overheat while playing on your camera that they end up on a blue screen and only play on FF and most of times not even that.

A good advice is to keep your tape cold, camera cold and try again.

Dont heat your tapes.

Also try battery playback, so it does not over heat with the power supply on.

I have a photo stored

You would have to have either a removable memory card or an adapter cable that connects the camera to your computer in order to transfer the photo.

M getting protect on my stereo display

It is possible that your device is shutting off due to a short in the circuit. hence for protection the device is switching offf the powerr to the main circuits. You will need to check for the short , maybe outputs or drivers and disconnect, replace to confirm. since you have not mentioned the model I am not able to comment more. Good day

SAMSUNG S2 PORTABLE 320GB does not make contact with USB.

Hello,

Thanks for using FixYa.

What you've experienced is a Hard drive crash. A hard drive crash is caused by a malfunction of the hard drive itself. You will know if it is a physical failure by the noise the drive will make. You will hear a clicking, clunking, grinding or whirring sound coming from the hard drive.

If the physical hard drive crash is so bad that the computer will not boot or another system cannot see the hard drive, then you may need to send the drive out to a data recovery solution like Disk Doctor or Stellar Data Recovery. They both have an excellent reputation for retrieving data from a crashed hard drive. It is not cheap but how much is your data worth?

I hope this gives you an idea of whats going on. Thanks and good day.

TV not working

The red light flashing is an error code. Count the number of flashes before a long pause.

Media is write protected

If this is a flash drive, there is possibly a small switch somewhere on the device that enables the write protection.
