I have a P115 Ryobi Intelliport charger , will it charge the new lithium 18 V battery?

Ryobi P115 is an 18V battery charger. However, Ryobi Manual did not mention the current rating of P115. if the current rating of Ryobi P115 is 50% higher than your 18V Lithium Battery it will charge. but if it's less than or equal, it will not.

My 40v Ryobi battery will not charge. The charge shows a flat red light that sometimes blinks. The battery shows as charged. It will not work.

Check the battery with your multimeter. If it reads below 36 volts (or whatever the cutoff point is) it may be damaged. But before you run off and buy a new one, use the multimeter to check the voltage from the charger. Or borrow a good battery and see how your charger behaves. that way, you can identify the cause of the problem

My Ryobi 36v battery is showing charge yet it is not powering the product, lights indicating charge don’t. Highlight when inserted into 2 different tools

test the battery with DMM-Digital Multi-Tester. when full charge a 36V battery measures 37-38 Volts. if battery is full charge the problem is your electric drill bring it to service center maybe need to replace carbon brush or the motor.

I have 2 Ryobi 18 volt lithium batteries... one shows as charged "green light" but will not operate my saw..the other battery works.??

You have a weak cell in the battery therefore it isn't producing enough amps. Needs to be replaced.

Ryobi charger number 140-229-5003 I'm using a battery 130 to 69012 with a 12-volt charger my red light stays on constant orange light does not turn on at all when is my battery charged

The battery has failed. Whether the battery can be reconditioned is not the question. The battery charger is condemning the battery when it does this. There are some battery fixes on you tube where a second battery can be used to get the dead battery off the zero voltage or low voltage limit that the charger is seeing. My response that the battery has failed is based on the charger symptoms and not on whether the battery can be reconditioned.

Ryobi p235 impact driver front bit holder has no tension it just slides back and forth you can see thee spring but there is no tension

I suspect the little ball bearings are out, possibly fell through the holes. Age and use and abrasive dust will cause this. You will need parts to replace the bit holder completely.

Red light in charger flash when battery is put in

This behavior is typical of trying to charge a battery that is wither too hot (let it rest for a hour) or one that has done its job and is ready for the battery retirement home. Replace your battery for best results with your Ryobi battery powered tool.

Does it harm a Ryobi 18v lithium battery to leave on Charger?

Lithium-Ion batteries require careful charging and temperature monitoring while in the charger. Ryobi's Charging station monitors many functions and shuts off when the battery has gone through a complete charge. This is indicated by a steady Green light. Once the Charge indicator is a steady green the charger stops charging. With any battery It will slowly discharge and I don’t think the Ryobi will maintain a battery that is never removed. For example, if after a complete charge cycle if the battery was left there for 2 years and then you went to use it, it would likely be completely discharged. However if the battery charger is unplugged then plugged back in a new charge sequence would start. I lose power at my house about every 6 months or so. Once power is restored a new cycle would start and the charging cycle begins again.
Hope this helps and have a great day.
