Hi, it seems that the mechanics have jammed due to lack of use. It happens all the time. I would suggest turning the lid anti-clockwise i believe. Also the fuse could need changing

You may also be lucky enough to find one online. Just type in the make and model, and follow it with "manual", you might hit the jackpot. Good luck

Hi, first and most importantly.... do NOT put your hand in there, set it up, switch it on, hopefully the blade will rotate.. then stop it and check if the blade will come loose on its own. This happened to me, and thats what worked. I had to do it a few times though, good luck!
