The Zapp Xtra seat fabric should not be placed in the washing machine due to the likelihood of damage to the sun canopy.

customer care team.
If you're not in the UK please visit the
Quinny website and select the country you're in, then choose the "Contact Us" tab on the right side of the page for your enquiry to be sent through to the customer care team who can best assist with purchasing a replacement seat fabric.

Hi Maria
If you have a 2011 model Zapp Xtra seat unit the bumper bar is not suitable to use on it.
The bumper bar accessory is only suitable for 2012 model Zapp Xtra seat unit onward. On the back of the seat unit there is a manufacturing sticker which shows date of production, which will tell you if your seat is suitable for using bumper bar accessory.

Hi CarlaMake sure the buttons are fully engaged to unlock the mechanism - the audible crack sound is indicating to you that the locks are still engaged and you're forcing it to fold / unfold. The button with the chevrons (arrows) on it should be pulled toward you. The button with the lines on it should be pushed in completely. Its easiest to fold the Buzz when standing in front of it so you depress the buttons and pull the knuckles toward you to fold it. If you hear a cracking noise, stop and release it, then try again.
Harness straps
Hi Kascha,Make sure the harness is long enough to accomodate the child comfortably and that the harness has no crumbs or dirt which may be affecting the locking. Place the two clips on the shoulder harness section together, then push into the buckle. An audible click will confirm it is locked in place. If it is brand new, it may help to give each part of the harness buckle a wipe over with a soft cloth and some furniture polish to enable the plastic to slide more smoothly. Do not clean with oil based lubricant as this will leave a sticky residue which can then stain fabrics and attract more dirt, creating friction which will then cause further issues.Page 10 in the User Manual shows how to do up the harness. If you find you still encounter difficulties please contact your retailer with proof of purchase for them to inspect & demonstrate.

You can send the Zapp Xtra to our engineers in the UK for inspection & repair work required.
If it's under 24 months old you can send copy of your proof of purchase to our care team and they can arrange inspection & repair free of charge under warranty, however there would be a 15GBP charge for courier collection from your address.
Alternatively you may like to discuss the situation with a Quinny retailer who may deal with the issue on your behalf which would mean you do not have to pay for courier collection.
