Question edited for clarity. Did you put in brand new certified fresh NiMH or Lithium Batteries? Opening the lens and powering the screen take the most milli-amps. The red light flashing is likely telling you the battery is flat. Did you check the manual? This is due to an old photo pack as they're all past the use by date now: the battery built in to it had just enough power to eject the protection sheet and take a photo, but then went flat. There's nothing you can do to remedy this unless you fit an external battery pack. There are no kits to do this with, you have to rig something up on a DIY basis but it is fairly simple with a few basic tools and a little ingenuity. The original batteries were 6v and the camera works at 4.5v; the higher voltage gives a bit of leeway as the battery slowly discharges whilst the film pack is stored and unused.

The two green LEDs on the back of the camera indicate a number of camera conditions. If they are both blinking, the camera's memory is full and the camera will not take any more pictures.

You may lose some channels when you retune the TV as the channels have been rearranged. To locate them look at the EPG although you may still find that some channels are no longer available on FREEVIEW. See the following link for additional information

I had success with this1. Do not save any new file to memory card.2. Connect your card to computer. You should see memory card shown as a drive letter (like H:) in My Computer.3. Download recovery software, recommended one is this photo recovery software (simply because i was using it and it worked)4. Install and open the photo recovery program, select your memory drive, and click 'Start' button to start scanning process which will find your deleted photos.

First check whether your speaker has a slot for SD card if it is present then plug the SD card into the slot

This camera is known for that. Save your money and buy something with rechargeable battery

if the line is present on all the pictures, then the display has a fault.

Is the memory card full? If thats not the problem, take the card and batteries out so it will reset, Make sure it is set on the correct mode. Then try again.
