The battery could need to be replaced or the charger has quit working.. The fuses inside of your 3Ds are bad and need replacement. the battery is bad or changer bad. try a new battery, as all batteries have short lives.

if the new battery is good and right one. then you must charge it for say 6 hours or as the manual to the kindle states. if this fails the new battery is bad.
