Oki data c9500 job offset home error
Where the paper exits the printer you will see 3 black sensor arms hanging down. 1 is the exit sensor and the other 2 are job offset sensors. On of those 2 will be stuck. Just gently free it and all should be well.
I bought a new Oki C610 a couple of months ago to
Hi my reply was too long heres the second half..and ill retype the first as a commentTry printing lighter prints, heavy toner saturation causes paper to stick to fusers and try to keep leading edge of print blank with no big blobs of colour for the same reason, ensure page sizes are set correctly in driver and machine tray settings and dont print outside margins , if you are about to print outside margins your printer driver should warn you, dont click ok if it does
Here is your user manual for your oki. and a link to
oki print drivers to suit 610Here is a
link to Magic touch Australia that i thought has some good info re transfer paper useEnsure your printer works ok with plain paper so we know it aint a printer fault but I'd say it due to how we are feeding the paper and how we have the paper type set and not feeding out the rear as I also think we should be.Oki does the best colour prints nice and glossy, I dont think many come close to such great colour prints in fact I only like Oki and Kyocera stuff in Colour toner laser machines. Stear clear of cheap non oki toners and supplies because they cause heaps of issues and wreck printers and give many print quality issues, I dont work for OKI directly just telling you how it is in the field ;)Let me know if you need more help and how you goCheersSteve
OKI B6250 - what does "file error 29" mean?
This is interesting. there is no reference in the service manual to this but I suspect the error is corruption in a file. It depends what you were doing when this occurred. Where you updating firmware for some reason to cure a problem? or just sending a file to print which maybe corrupted? Repost if you need further help.
Oki 5150 can not network
Where your network cable plugs into the printer there should be a green led on and possibly an orange one flashing (Shows data passing thru). If neither are lit then try another network cable (may be stretched). If still nothing then just try another network port. if still nothing then yes the network port which is part of the main board will be U.S. and new main board will be required. maybe expensive.....
I use a power inverter to power my printer and the
Well it sounds like the old inverter had a problem with regulation and it has inturn blown the power supplies in both printers. Without buying new PSU's there is nothing you can do. The Switch-mode power supplies in most printers do not like unstable input and that is what your inverter gave them.
Faint area down left side of page
When you say "Cleaned the lens" I presume you mean the four LED print heads. Use a spirit to clean them with if the toner dust is hard to remove. I usually just use a finger and wipe the entire length. Make sure there is no foreign item laying on the drum top where the black plastic film is as the led head may not seat properly on it. Clean all the silver high voltage springs down the left side of the printer. They make contact with the drums. If you still have a problem then try printing solid colour blocks ie Yellow, Magenta ,Cyan and Black . This will identify which colour is giving the problem . Change that drum and all should be well.
Oki microline 320 form feed
Am afraid the Power Surge (when the power came back on) has damaged the unit and there is no "Reset" to these printers. You would need to replace the control board but as its a power surge there is a reasonable chance that the power supply will have been damaged/weakened and this will lead to a shortened life span of the printer. I would throw it away and replace with new. sorry, ( I am not a salesman either)
