check oil level if low, add mobil one oil. check for oil leaks.low hydraulic pressure is sign of low pressure in the valve housing, unit should be rebuilt by replacing o-rings in the housing . email me for help.

The main problem is that the CLIP needs to be adjusted in order to have the correct pressure adjustment the lever clip should be at a 45 degrees level once is clipped at the bottom anchorage it will be OK to much pressure will brake the securing pins of the unit [email protected]

If both juicers were purchased in Australia the same the brand name changed in 2001 from Nutrifaster the company to The Ruby Juicer

Hi Kathy, we had the same problem. You need to soak you basket overnight (every day) in a chlorinated solution/detergent. This will keep your filter basket clean. Also, make sure you rinse out your juicer if you know you are not going to use it much for a few hours as the pulp will dry up and clog your filter. Since adopting we started doing this we haven't had any more problems.

The Nutrifaster blades do have to be sharpened every so often. You can send the blade into Nutrifaster and they will sharpen the blade for you. Go to Nutrifaster.com and look under spare parts.
