Take the cd back to the PC that burned it and make sure the session has closed. Open a picture to see if works. If the session IS closed then you need to have software for viewing pictures updated.

What app you use to burn it.Depends on what app you are using or if you use the OS app to do it.Some Movies are protected in order to avoid the cpoy.

I have done this,carefully take the cassette apart,by removeing the screws,be sure and look at how it is assembled.
Remove both spools of tape.In the break area cut with a razor blade each sides of the spools so you have a smooth surface on the tape.
lay them on a flat surface,pointing towards each other,be carefull not to drop the spools.Put one (little) drop of supperglue on the tape,then put the other end of the tape on top,make sure the alignment is straight and you dont glue the tape to youre work area.Wait about five minutes,then reassemble. Works like a charm for me.

Your best bet would be to use Google to search for the meaning of a particular song. Use RECUVA file recovery software

Do you know what the type of files are that are on the disk? They could be .DOC or something like that or they could be a special file that needs medical software to open. If you put the cd in the computer and you click on the drive and it opens the directory to view the files, can you tell us what the file type is?
