Welding machine stops working after a few minutes of welding.
there is probley nothing wrong its called duty cycle.which means that if you are welding long periods or welding at max amps the welder will kickout to cool down.Look on your unit for the tag that tells imformation about your unit.It will show something like 30% duty cycle so that means you can weld 3 minutes at full power before the unit shuts down.
Welder will not start. The reset button usually
you need to check the reset button and if it is a small red cylinder shape and says tattle tale on it you will have to actually hold in the button while starting and continue to hold it for a few seconds after it is running with the choke completely off. thats just a common problem ppl have other than that if the motor turns over and never fires then i would have to say that u are on the right track
