Try pressing the on/off button to turn it off. I had a same problem. I depressed the on/off button for ~6 second or so and the device turned off. When I turned on again, the LeapReader no longer had a white light and was recognized by my computer.

To delete a picture, simultaneously press the Home Button with the Higher Volume button to enter the Parent Settings Menu.Select the Manage Pictures option.Press the icon with the Garbage Can located under the picture you want to delete.Then press the green button with the checkmark to delete the picture.

How do I obtain a parent code for my child's leap pad ultra? My child started the ultra before I could set up anything.

Contact the website. You can't be the first or only person this has happened to.

You need to contact the seller. The device has a detection problem, which is not something you can correct, unless the toy has instructions for how to reboot it. It sounds like a defective sensor.

For paren lock code when asked for the 4 digits press 1 9 6 then backspace then 8 7 hope that helps

my leap pad ultra is at that part of turning off wher their is only a dot of wite left on the screen.it is still doing that and it has been at least 2 hours since i played it. it wont turn on either now.i am a kid sorry if their are spelling errors

The one my kids had (a couple of years ago) could only hold 2 or 3 books at a time. Just limitations of the storage capacity.
