How to remove lid on Kohler k-1833a cistern

Follow the instructions on p.12 of the following pdf:
http://www.geberit.com.au/web/appl/au/wcmsau.nsf/files/usr-pdf-Geberit_Outlet%20Valves.pdf/$file/Geberit_Outlet%20Valves.pdf
Basically, push down the 'full-flush' (big) side of the flush button and look at the side of the remaining (small) side of the button. There is a little slot that allows you to pull the small button out. You can then pull out the big side of the button which exposes a screw that allows you to pull the lid off.
Hope that helps.

Need password for a stolen file

Okay. The question is a bit lacking in details. Password for what? Password ON what? Where was the file stolen from? Who stole the file? What is the file content. What is the file extension (the bit after the file name and the period file_name.what)? All questions need to start 'make model (what it is)' first 3 words. And then a clear question. For the 13 people that have tagged this 10 year old question, it is better to post your own question. ..

How do I do a factory reset on a Kohler Hatbox toilet please?

I have never heard of a toilet that needs an electronic reset, but it appears it is as simple as just disconnecting the power for 10 minutes. It does sound though are yours has a failing flush valve. I managed an airport lounge and we had dozens of electronic toilets and we had to keep a box of spares for them and just put new parts in them including complete control boards. We also kept a box of batteries. https://www.google.com/search?q=kohler+hatbox+toilet+factory+reset ..

Kohler lowboy toilet seat does not have bolts underneath

I have the same low boy where the bolts are inside the hollow body of the toilet. I called Kohler customer service and was told to use brute force to yank the toilet seat out. My husband suggested using a saw to cut the bolt but he hasn't done it yet. He wants to replace all our Kohler low boys which constantly leak becos of poor design of handle and flapper. The handle pulls the flapper slightly to the side when you flush. And the flapper lip being a tiny bit too small, if it doesn't sit just right, the toilet leaks. We've replaced one already with a Toto and love it. Too bad that Kohler isn't trying to fix the problem as I see many many online posts with the same problem and recommendation to replace the Kohler with Toto or somethng else.

Kohler Whirlpool jets are weak.

Kohler has good support. You can view the diagrams for that unit with the link I am posting. There are no filters listed in the diagram that might need to be cleaned. There is a chance that the unit has developed a clog from hair etc in the pump impellor. The flange may have come loose and is allowing air in the suction side of the pump too. Kohler has online chat and support numbers you can call too. K-1357-RA ' Devonshire 5-Foot Whirlpool with Apron and Right Drain ' KOHLER

Kohler toilet leave black streaks and small black particles coming out of water holes under toilet bowl rim.

#K4421 Re black specks coming from rim jets (only). Me too. Looks like bits of rotting rubber. Water in tank is clear-no specks there. I suspect the small hose from fill valve to top of flush piston may be breaking down, as it has gone rigid and I'm afraid to squeeze it lest it shatter. First thing I'll try is replacing that hose, if I can find one. My daughter has same toilet but no "specks". With her toilet, it's the same small hose but the problem is it occasionally pops off at fill valve end. I can fix that with wire but when I find hose source, I'll buy two.

How to change the battery in the kohler veil toilet?

The only batteries are in the docking station. If the remote is attached to the docking station, take that off and set it aside. Next, carefully lift the docking station up and out from the mounting bracket. Look at the back of the docking station, push the two tabs outwards (away from each other) simultaneously to open the battery compartment cover. Replace the batteries (4 AAs) in the correct orientation. Reinstall the cover. Then replace the docking station on the mounting bracket and put the remote back on the dock if desired. These directions are shown in the Homeowner's Guide (without the service parts) available on the product page: https://www.us.kohler.com/us/veil-intelligent-comfort-height-skirted-one-piece-elongated-dual-flush-toilet/productDetail/toilets/1120267.htm . Scroll down to the Installation section to find the link to the document. The current link to this guide is https://www.us.kohler.com/webassets/kpna/catalog/pdf/en/1226974_5.pdf . I hope this helps.
