Remove bread maker shaft
Not sure what you are asking but to remove the paddle you need to perhaps give it a slight twist and pull upwards. It musts be cleaned regularly to ensure it moves freely to mix the dough. If you haven't cleaned it for a while perhaps a short soak in cold water will loosen it.

I am pretty sure I have your manual. Is it the BM450 model? google me at breadmachineshelp In the meantime if you like to read fiction or are looking for a fun gift for family or friend:

Bm210 drive belt not available. Can it be replaced
Your drivebelt has probably either broken or come off. Make sure your machine isunplugged and turn it on its side and take the bottom panel off. The belt is inthere. If it has snapped or come off you'll need to replace it. I have a fewbelts that might fit. Hopefully yourbelt will have letter/number code on the smooth side. It will look something like this: STS 80 S3M 561 . If I have it I could sell you the belt. There are several videoson you tube that show how to put a belt on a bread machine and you couldinstall it yourself if I have the belt you need.
Bread kneader gets stuck in loaf
That is going to happen often with breadmachines, especially when making breads with thick crust. The only way to avoid it 100% of the time is to make dough with your machine and then do the final rising and baking in the oven. There is one other thing you can do to avoid the dreaded" paddle injury" to your loaves and still bake in your machine. Visit me at breadmachineshelp.com and I'll reveal my little trick!
Error Code E-S
This has happened to me a couple of times now. It seems that the dough mixture gets stuck over one side and the mixer thinks there is a problem. I tend to watch the initial kneading process for 5 mins or so and if it is sticking over one side, I tilt the machine to balance it up and get the dough back in the centre. Seems to work for me.
