My JVC TV has an onscreen remote that doesn't let us use the actual remote what do I do to gat it out?

Hello! If your JVC TV is displaying an onscreen remote and you're unable to use the actual remote, you can try the following steps to resolve the issue:
  1. Power cycle the TV: Turn off the TV and unplug it from the power source. Wait for a few minutes, then plug it back in and turn it on. This can often reset any temporary issues and restore the functionality of the actual remote.
  2. Replace the remote batteries: Check the batteries in your remote control and make sure they have enough power. If the batteries are low, replace them with fresh ones and try using the remote again.
  3. Check the remote control sensor: Ensure that there are no obstructions between the remote control and the TV's remote control sensor. Clean the remote control sensor on the TV with a soft, lint-free cloth to remove any dust or debris that may be interfering with the signal reception.
  4. Reset the TV to factory settings: If the issue persists, you can try resetting the TV to its factory settings. Keep in mind that this will erase any personalized settings and restore the TV to its original configuration. Refer to the user manual or the manufacturer's website for instructions on how to perform a factory reset on your specific JVC TV model.
  5. Contact JVC customer support: If none of the above steps resolve the issue, it's recommended to reach out to JVC customer support for further assistance. They will have access to more specific troubleshooting steps and can guide you through the process of resolving the issue with the onscreen remote.
Keep in mind that the exact steps and options may vary depending on your specific JVC TV model. Refer to the user manual or contact JVC customer support for model-specific guidance.

JVC SR-DVM700U the front display is dimming quit low to where i cant read it

If the front display of your JVC SR-DVM700U is dimming to the point where it is difficult to read, there are a few potential causes and troubleshooting steps you can try: 1. Adjust the display brightness: Check if your device has a dedicated display brightness control. It could be a physical knob or a setting in the menu system. Increase the brightness setting to make the display more visible. Refer to the user manual for specific instructions on how to adjust the display brightness. 2. Check the power source: Ensure that the device is connected to a stable power source. If the power supply is fluctuating or inadequate, it can cause the display to dim. Try plugging the device into a different power outlet or using a different power cable to rule out any power-related issues. 3. Clean the display: Dust, dirt, or fingerprints on the display surface can also affect visibility. Gently clean the front display using a soft, lint-free cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials that could damage the display. 4. Check for backlight issues: The display might have a backlight that illuminates it. If the backlight is malfunctioning or failing, it can result in dimness. Unfortunately, in most cases, repairing or replacing the backlight requires professional assistance. Consider contacting a qualified technician or JVC customer support for further guidance and potential repairs. 5. Reset the device: Perform a factory reset on your JVC SR-DVM700U. This can help resolve any software-related issues that may be affecting the display. Consult the user manual or contact JVC customer support for instructions on how to perform a factory reset on your specific model. If the above steps don't resolve the issue, it is recommended to reach out to JVC customer support or consult a professional technician who specializes in JVC audio/video equipment. They can provide further troubleshooting guidance or recommend appropriate repairs if necessary.

I have a jvc 40in model LT 40A 32C.THERE IS NO SOUND FROM SPEAKER OR EXTERNAL SPEAKER PORTS.

Here are some troubleshooting steps you can try to fix the sound issue on your JVC TV:
  1. Check the volume level: Make sure that the TV volume is not muted and the volume level is high enough to be audible.
  2. Check the connections: Ensure that the audio cables are properly connected to the TV and the external speakers. If you're using an external audio device, check its connections as well.
  3. Try resetting the TV: Turn off the TV and unplug it from the power source for a few minutes. Then plug it back in and turn it on.
  4. Check the audio settings: Access the TV's audio settings menu and ensure that the sound mode is set to "Stereo" or "Mono". You can also try changing the audio output settings to "TV Speakers" or "External Speakers" depending on what you're using.
  5. Try using a different audio device: If the above steps don't work, try connecting a different audio device to the TV to see if the sound works. This will help you determine if the problem is with the TV or the audio device.
If none of these steps work, it's possible that there may be an issue with the TV's audio hardware, and you may need to contact a professional repair service or the manufacturer for further assistance.

When I try to turn on my jvc projection tv the red light by the power button blinks 2 times and tv won't turn on?

The blinking red light on your JVC projection TV could indicate a problem with the TV's power supply, lamp, or other internal component. Here are some steps you can take to try to resolve the issue:
  1. Check the power cord: Make sure the power cord is plugged in securely to the TV and the power outlet. If the cord is loose or damaged, the TV may not receive the power it needs to turn on.

  3. Replace the lamp: If the TV has been used for a long time, the lamp may be burnt out and need to be replaced. Check the owner's manual or contact JVC customer support for instructions on how to replace the lamp.
  4. Contact customer support: If none of the above steps work, the TV may have a more serious problem that requires professional repair. Contact JVC customer support for assistance or to find an authorized repair center in your area.

Older JVC VHS model VP 782 U/UC will not load a VHS cassette

If your JVC VHS model VP 782 U/UC is not loading VHS cassettes, there could be a few possible causes. Here are a few things you can try: Check the tape: Make sure the VHS cassette is not damaged, dirty, or warped. Clean the tape heads and tape path with a VHS head cleaner if necessary. Check the loading mechanism: Make sure the loading mechanism is free of debris or obstructions. Open the VHS deck and visually inspect the loading mechanism for any visible issues. Check the drive belt: Over time, the rubber drive belt that pulls the tape through the VHS deck can become worn or loose. Open the deck and check the drive belt for any signs of wear or slack. If the belt is loose or damaged, it may need to be replaced. Check the loading motor: If the drive belt is fine, the issue could be with the loading motor. The motor may have burned out or become faulty, preventing the tape from being loaded properly. In this case, the motor may need to be replaced. If none of these steps resolve the issue, it may be necessary to take the VHS player to a professional repair shop for further diagnosis and repair.

How to program JVC vcr/dvd/tv remote 076D0FB010 for taping future tv shows. I can only tape shows live on my JVC HR-XVC1U machine.

It sounds like the remote you have, the JVC 076D0FB010, does not have the capability to program future recordings on your JVC HR-XVC1U or HR-XVC27U machines. This feature is typically called "timer recording" or "scheduled recording," and it is controlled by the VCR's built-in programming features, rather than by the remote. You may want to check the user manual for your JVC HR-XVC1U and HR-XVC27U machines to see if there is a way to set timer recordings using the VCR's own controls. If the manual does not provide instructions for timer recording, it is likely that this feature is not available on your VCRs. Alternatively, you can consider purchasing a universal remote that has the ability to program future recordings. Some popular universal remotes include the Logitech Harmony and the Philips Universal Remote Control.

How do l fix jvc rs33 super A stereo receiver overheating problem

If your JVC RS33 Super A projector is overheating, it could indicate a problem with the projector's internal cooling system or with its environmental conditions. Here are a few things you can try to troubleshoot the issue:
  1. Clean the projector's air filter. Make sure the air filter is clean and not clogged with dust or debris. This can prevent proper airflow and cause the projector to overheat.
  2. Check the projector's ventilation. Make sure that the projector has proper ventilation and that the air intake and exhaust vents are not blocked.
  3. Check the projector's lamp. Make sure the lamp is not damaged and that it is working properly. A damaged or worn-out lamp can cause the projector to overheat.
  4. Check the projector's environment. Make sure that the projector is being used in a well-ventilated room and that the room temperature is not too high. High temperatures and poor ventilation can cause the projector to overheat.
  5. If the above steps don't solve the problem, it could indicate a more serious issue with the projector's internal cooling system or with its electronic components. It's recommended to contact the JVC customer service or a professional technician for further assistance.
It's important to follow the manufacturer's instructions and guidelines when performing any maintenance or repairs on the projector, to ensure the safety and proper functioning of the projector. It's also important to check the projector's warranty status and the manufacturer's instructions to ensure that the repair or replacement will not void the warranty. Keep in mind that troubleshooting and repairing electronic equipment can be dangerous if you are not familiar with the proper procedures. If you are not comfortable with performing the troubleshooting yourself, it's best to contact a professional technician for assistance.

Can't open the cassette door on a JVC HR-C3 portable VCR.

  1. Check the cassette door sensor: Make sure that the cassette door sensor is clean and free of debris. If the sensor is dirty or blocked, it may not be able to properly detect the presence of a cassette in the VCR.
  2. Try unplugging the VCR: Unplug the VCR from the power source, wait for a few minutes, then plug it back in. This may reset the cassette detection mechanism and allow you to open the cassette door.
  3. Try using the manual release: Some VCRs have a manual release mechanism that allows you to manually open the cassette door. Check the user manual or the VCR itself for instructions on how to use the manual release.
  4. If none of the above steps work, it's likely that there is a problem with the cassette detection mechanism or the cassette door sensor. It's recommended to contact a professional technician for repair.
It's worth noting that the problem might be caused by a malfunctioning mechanism or parts, that may need to be replaced and it's best to be addressed by a professional technician.

Has anyone fixed or know about the 58in JVC roku TV?

You have identified a problem with the IR sensor on your JVC LT-58MAW595 television. The IR sensor is responsible for receiving signals from the remote control, so if it is damaged or not functioning correctly, the tv may not respond to remote commands. If the IR sensor is caved in and has scraped the gold ribbon cable that is in line with the sensor box, the ribbon cable has also likely been damaged. The ribbon cable is a thin, flexible circuit board that connects the IR sensor to the main circuit board of the television. In this case, you may need to replace the ribbon cable to repair the IR sensor. The ribbon cable is a small part, and it is not a common one; it is part of the main circuit board of the television. It is not recommended to try to repair the ribbon cable; it is best to replace it with a new one. The part you are looking for might be hard to find, and it might be best to contact JVC or a professional technician to determine the availability of the ribbon cable and the replacement cost. Keep in mind that working with the main circuit board of the television requires technical knowledge and skill; it's best to have a professional technician perform the repair.
