This is a copy of your machine manual. It has set up, installation, and check out procedures. I believe you can do most everything in here except recovery of the freon. If you are not a service tech, you can not open the system as you will loose the freon charge. It depends on how far you want to move the machine.

This machine had same issue. I replaced gear box. Oil leaked out.

maybe not. it could be that the heating cycle is taking a lot of time to remove the ice from the evaporator that is why the electronics is shutting off the compressor as a protection. check the heating cycle if it is working fine. check the evaporator for dirt that would hold the ice slab from falling down quickly. check the level of the unit. it may have move and now its out of level. the unit must be leveled with the ground.

typically clockwise is colder and counterclockwise is warmer. hold a cube on the end of the prob for testing and or re-locate the probe to where you want your ice level to be

The depth setting on the evaporator cube setting may be set too thick making the cubes stick together. Adjust it to make smaller cubes.

High temperature alert E1 code occurs if box temperature has exceeded 18DEG F above the set point for more than 2 hours. It will reset its self after temp drops
