Air purifier won't oscillate anymore... How do we fix that?
My is no longer oscillating as well. Took it apart and feel like its the small motor. I am unable to find it online. will call honeywell tomorrow. And probably bring the motor somewhere to ask what optional motor will work in its place. And put it all back together. a new motor should be about $10

Power light not coming staying on...
pull the cells out and run the filter without them. If the light stays solid then you most likely have a simple short in one of the cells. Install one cell at a time, push it all the way back, close the door, turn on the fan. IF the light stays solid, that cell is fine. If the light flickers or goes out, the most common cause is a bent fin.
Look at the cells and see if any cells are touching or are too close, this will cause your problem.. Simply bend the cells to get even spacing and you should be ok.

Honeywell 17000 just stopped working
That capacitor, if it is the start up capacitor will cause the motor to hum loudly. If it is the 'run' capacitor and is open circuit the motor will not start.
That is an easy fix.
he flickering lights may suggest a different issue.
Honey well air purifier 17007 fuse blew. how to
The fuse is located inside the control panel. It is soldered to the circuit board, not mounted in a typical fuse holder. You will need a Philips screwdriver to disassemble the unit. You will need a soldering iron & solder to remove the fuse and replace it. You may want to a multi-meter to check the fuse. If the unit just stopped working, it could be a number of other issues than the fuse. The starter capacitor for the motor could be dead or some other issue. You must take precautions against electrical shock. You may need a technician to safely perform some repairs.
I have a HoneyWell F300E electronic air cleaner,
Continuous snapping is not normal .Remove both electronic cells. Make sure that there is no hair, dirt, sand or any debris on the bottom inside the Electronic air cleaner. If there is, remove what you can by hand. If a lot of debris is left in bottom of the Air Cleaner, you may want to use a vacuum attachment to see if you can vacuum up what you can.
