I have an old hilti,
IT could be one of two problems. 1 The Rollers are missing out of the chuck so that it is not turning the bit. 2 the clutch is worn out causing the gears to slip. The problem is there are no longer parts available for the 12S. You would have to find them on Ebay or some place like that.
If the bit seems to lock into the chuck then it is not the rollers. It is more than likely the clutch.
I've got a hilti te7a hammer drill that runs very slow
By nature hammer drills collect dust and dirt inside them.
It is most likely yours needs to be taken apart and cleaned and lubricated.
Since time is money, very few workmen do a lot of maintenance on tools, because a tool in the shop is not earning you money.
God bless your efforts.

its having for shure the working hours are on it, carefully service is doing service a complete machine not only a few parts a consumables kit and sae20-20 or hd 20 turmopol oil all seals the impact bolt with rings and seals are have allways the highest high priority some other parts can only can be measured by a tolerance control also the special bearings are very special inside also with very close tight tolerance its oft hard to do a service job without the right tools for . Hilti & Duss are brands with a special marketing technical development no children's toys in each case . In Europe Hilti has no no more connection brokering from 2006 and later only to the end user for service i don,t know how its in your Country has been .

How much oil put in hilti t15
Thats the most delicate question on fixya
45ml or 50ml hd20 or an other cheaper sae20-20 can also be used and also bought by Hilti
Be aware of all the secrets of the tight-toleranced parts and bearings by this brand . in case you will service this by yourself because its not comparable with other brands by using a consumables kit. because only change a few parts will not made a succesfully repair because of marketing technical developments because everything works very close accuratelly together by brand Hilti. the impact bold you will see perhaps optional see nothing but measure it on the seal can make a decision for the whole machine.
Hilti and Duss are both one of the best tools but have a complete service nessecary if there are the working hours on it.

Hpw do i change from drill to hammer on hilti te 22
The "sleeve" below the chuck slides and twists. If it is in the forward position it's in drill mode, because the chuck can't hammer, pull it back and it will be in hammer mode.(the picture shows the black plastic sleeve in the forward position, which can be pulled back over the metal that is still exposed)

Can I convert a Hilti te5 from Chinese plug to American?
Check your voltage first. The USA uses 110 volts? Chinese electricals run on 220 volts. Somewhere on the Hilti it will tell you what voltage is ok.
You can probably buy an adaptor to fit the Chinese plug into. However, it would be easier just to cut off the Chinese plug and fit one of your own.
