My hot water on model #87330 cooler has stopped
Unfortunatly this is going to be a bad heating element or high limit thermostat, It's going to be cheaper to buy a new one or just make do with cold water. Sorry I can't be more helpfull but i worked on these things for a while and the company i worked for would rather buy new then put time effort and parts into a $100 water dispencer.
if I can be of any more assitance please feel free to comment again.
Frig not cooling
The thermostat has become defective or it has lost freon or the compressor has failed.
Unless it is the thermostat, It may not be cost effective to repair so check the cost of a replacement.
Cold water fan won't shut off runs all the
HI. this is a stuck fan relay switch that is located inside the unit. normally, if you unplug the unit for 5 minutes, this will reset the controls and, allow the relay switch to reset as well. i would try this before replacing the fan switch(relay).

Water Cooler - Water has mildew taste
I just put about six cups of white vinegar (not diluted) into the reservoir and let it sit for about an hour. Then I emptied that out and flushed a few pitchers of very hot water through. It seems to have worked quite well.
Drinkwater is not running
Filter is plugged or supply hose is pinched. Turnoff the water supply before you remove the filter.
Hamilton Beach 87330 water cooler
Hello! About 2 weeks ago, the same problem began on my Hamilton Beach water dispenser.
Last week, I called the HB service support, and they told me to do the following reset procedure:
1. Dispense 3 cups from the HOT water side, and also, 3 cups from the COLD water side.
2. Turn BOTH back switches OFF (the ones on the back of the water dispenser).
3. Unplug the dispenser, and LEAVE it unplugged for 24 hours.
4. After 24 hours, turn the back switches ON and plug it in.
5. Leave it on for 4 hours WITHOUT dispensing any water.
...it's been about 12 hours since I've dispensed water again for the first time, and so far, SO GOOD! I'll update if the problems reappear.
Cold Water not squirting out cold water
To resolve this problem, unplug the dispenser and let it sit for about 24 hours. I had this problem happen to me and I took the unit apart to find out the cause. I discovered that the the water cooling mechanism developed a big chunk of ice inside of it and it basically blocked the flow water. Allowing that ice to melt should resolve this problem. It did for us.
