This can be a number of things;
1. Thermostat is not programmed properly and all your doing is rebooting it
2. Bad electric ignitor for the furnace
3. Wiring is wrong from thermostat to furnace or vice versa

Remove the panel the codes are on the backside.

Ream out the orifices where the pressure switch tubing connects, these plug of often and need reaming out t5o clear the obstruction.

Steady ON is normal operation. If the LED flashes it's an indication of an error. It will flash a sequence then repeat to indicate the error.

Lux thermostats are not very good in my opinion, a heat pump is an AC unit that reverses operation so if the AC works and the Heat works then it is OK as far as the refrigeration cycle which is good, replace with a better thermostat such as Honeywell , try Lux 800 # too just in case.
