Fujitsu Laptop. Pls Help for my laptop that turns on with no display and only blinking num lock light.

Question edited for proper spelling of maker name and better English. Question moved to Fujitsu category. No model, service tag details given, so generic help. Re: E744 - NumLock flashing Remove the battery and the ac adapter and press the power button again for a view seconds. After that connect the ac adapter first an try again if you can start your device. If you are facing the same problem again you should contact a service partner regarding a repair of your notebook. Fujitsu stuck on logo screen

Assuming you cannot boot at all, this sounds like hardware failure (either motherboard or processor). If you take the laptop to your local computer repair store, they can diagnose the issue more accurately. If you can get to your boot options, attempt to run any manufacturer diagnosis tools, and it could possibly tell you what is wrong.

My windows media in use on my Fujitsu LIFEBOOK

Yes you can. You can go to the microsoft website directly or simply run your Microsoft Update and look for the media player update. If you go through your updates completely, you will find the Windows Media Player 10 is the highest available prior to Windows Vista. If you have less than Windows XP you may have to settle for Media Player 9, but still, windows update will fix your issue.

Good Luck,

Jesse

I want to completly remove Windows and repl, ace it with Win XP Pro

If you have a valid copy of xp pro, then just insert the disk and boot from it when asked. when you are asked about an install, choose a clean or new install and everything will be erased and you will start over. Be advised that you will need to get the lifebook drivers burned to a disk before you start.
