Affinity Model FASE7074LRO. Why is it displaying E61 code?

E61 is a stuck relay on the main control board. This is the board right behind the control panel where all the buttons are. You'll need to order and replace this board.

Affinity. Why does it run for 2 seconds, then stop and display PAUSE?

The fault often lies with the motor relay because the motor relay should keep the dryer running after you release the push-to-start switch. The following page has a link to a video providing a tip to restarting the dryer. That said, the troubleshooting page points out that door latch problems can also be a cause of stoppages. https://www.searspartsdirect.com/diy/symptom/dryer-repair/1234594/starts-then-stops/dryel09

Frigidaire affinity dryer says pau

PAU (pause) may reflect an excessive load or one out of balance. Or, it may indicate the exhaust hose is blocked, crimped or smashed (something you can check by pulling out the dryer, disconnecting the hose and seeing if the dryer then works). Burt before you do any of this, you can simply unplug and replug the dryer. Like a computer, that is sometimes all you need to do. But if this is a control board problem, other than jiggling such or checking for a loose wire, you will have to have a service tech look at it. I am assuming that the door latch is working.(which operates a sensor).

My Frigidaire Electric Dryer, model #GLEQ2152ES0, has a nuisance E68 error that often stops the cycle. I can't find the proper way to enter diagnostic mode. Can you point me to the right procedure?

Sounds like you have a stuck button. Try removing the panel and putting it back on. Worst case scenario- you may have to replace it. Then you'll have a happy Frigidaire appliance again. Frigidaire Appliance Repair EZ Fix Appliance Repair Las Vegas

My Frigidaire dryer will not start. It shows a PF

PF is showing you that there is a power problem. Check your dryer circuit breaker at the power panel. This can be a sing that one of the 2 breakers has tripped. Push the CB hard to OFF and then back to ON. Then try and start your dryer. If that does not work just respond here and I will help you.

Try selecting "No Heat" after resetting the CB and see if the dryer starts. If it does you could have a bad heating element that caused the breaker to trip to begin with. Sometimes when the heating element fails the broken link will contact the chassis and cause the CB to trip. Heating element failures are usually caused by poor airflow. You may want to look for any signs of lint in your dryer to include the lint filter area and all the way to the outside wall exhaust point.

My Frigidaire affinity dryer model faqg7111lw0 will dry for 10 minutes and then stop and the drying, cool down, wrinkle release lights are blinking what do I do to fix it?

ELECTRICDryer no heat or little heat, or shuts down to fast: Checkyour venting and lint basket. Check blower for lint build up and blower wheel obstruction., test by trying to turn the wheel manually by hand (should be easy) May have to remove cabinet or front/back plate to get to it) Next check the heating element itself with a meter for continuityit should showOHMS CLOSED CIRCUIT. If not its defectiveor has a short if its grounding out? Which in turns causes blown fuses or thermostats or overheating. The heating elements are located inside the heater ducts. If you think a heating element is faulty, test it with avolt-ohm-multimeter(VOM)set to the RX1 scaleat 20K ohms. Disconnect the leads from the power terminals and clip one probe of the VOM to each terminal. The meter should read about 12. (1200)ohms.If the reading is higherohms, the heater is faulty and should be replaced. Replace a faulty heater with a new one of the same type and electrical rating. A heater connected to a 115-volt line usually has an 8.4-ohm resistance; a heater connected to a 220-volt line usually has 11 ohms resistance. Check dryer Terminal block prongs both outside prongs should give combined 220, and 110 each if u check 1 outside & 1 center (ground) prong. Also check house electrical outlet for full voltage. 220 because if u only get half or 110 volts you will be able to run the machine which uses only 110 to run motor but not the heater which uses a full 220,OR?you may have a broken centrifugal switch in the motor because this switch activates the motor and the heater as well. supposedto be if the motor does not run, the heater should not heat in order not to createafire but ifthe motor is not running, andthe heater is still heating, then there could be a problem with the motor centrifugal switch that is connected to this interlock switch that should trigger the heater. Check the thermal cut off, the cycling and the hi limit thermostats. For continuity or OHMS. If no ohms or resistance they need replacement. In somedryer'sthecontrol panel relies on athermistorrather than aCYCLING thermostatto regulate the drum's air temperature by monitoring the component's resistance changes; resistance goes down as temperature increases and up when temperature decreases. Once the drum's air temperature reaches a certain level required to dry clothes, the control panel shuts off the heater. The panel will turn the heater on again and begin another heating cycle when thethermistorindicates that more heat is needed to keep the air temperature constant inside the drumthis is why in some cases the dryer will operate at lower cycles like gentle or low heat but not at higher settings?) Lastly check your moister sensor.( located inside the dryer door usually) Especially if machine seems to shutdown early and clothesare still wet. Test with a meterat room temperatureand it should show continuity. A failed moisture sensor will affect the dryer run timein the automatic moisture sensing cyclebut it will not affect the heatingof the dryer or the timed cycle.Which are reflected by the thermostats. Every button on my Frigidaire dryer works but the start and pause button what could be wrong

Start simple. Check for the basic things that will not let the dryer run. Broken door switch. A loose wire on the door switch...those kinds of things. The same would apply to the start button. R

Kenmore Oasis dryer F40 error code

I had this same issue. My dryer would run and heat up but then stop and give me the f40. I measured all thermisters and everything was in range. The tech sheet stated that I needed to buy a new control board and I did. Same problem.
The solution was a loose connection on for p4. I took needle nose pliers and squeezed the connector to make it fit tight on the board and everything is working now.
Bottom line, expensive dryer with cheap connectors.

Is there a place online that lists the error codes for Frigidaire

There are several websites with error codes listed. I have not seen any codes listed for frigidaire dryers. So I checked at Frigidaire.com had no luck there either. 800-374-4432 is their customer service number. I found codes for Frigidaire cooking products but nothing for dryers. Good luck.
