Torch will only light when
Is the flame you are getting a carbonising flame? ie. is there a lot of soot in the flame? It sounds like your oxygen regulator is faulty and not regulating, blowing out your flame as soon as you open the oxygen bottle. The acetylene side seems to be ok but have the oxygen regulator overhauled.

Gas always comes out of the handle when the bottle
Hi:
That's very strange...
1) make sure you have the right nozzle, this gun takes both inner shield (gasless) and gas nozzle. so check you have a gas nozzle on it, the gas nozzle has a space around the contact tip for gas flow.
2) Check the tip holder this one must be free of spatter.
3) check gun's physical integrity, if it is kinked of brittle, probably you need a new gun.
Good luck.

Just purchased and tried to
have you tried adjusting the tension on the flux wire? before you start feeding the wire into it make sure there isnt any kinks in the wire. seems like it doesnt take much for it to bind up once you get start welding with it im sure you will run into this problem quite allot. usually its from welding the wire to the tip. i have to be honest it can ve a pain in the ***
Can i convert my fp90 to gas?
If there is a gas kit for it yes. Most of the "old machines" ran on innershield wire, but there are always kits to upgrade them for gas/wire use.
My wire feed is not working. there seems to be a
If the "line" leaving the welder is the weld gun the crimp could be that the liner in the gun lead is indeed crimped. This will not allow the wife to feed from the gun.
Remove the gun from the welder and see if you can push or pull the flux wire in/out of the gun. If you cannot then remove the liner and replace it. If the crimp is too bad you may not be able to evem remove the liner. If that is the case yo may have to replace the gun. Hope this helps.
Wire not feeding correctly
Check for the correct tip size first. Too small or too large portal will jam wire in the tip. Check for correct wire speed for amperage used, too fast or too slow coupled with the distance from work piece will do the same. Check for wire condition, if the wire is rusted......you do the math. Check polarity......DECEP vs. DECEN for the type of materials welded. ARE YOU USING AN ANTI-SPATTER AGENT? Build-up of spatter can cause early arc. Lastly, is the wire tension too high? The wire should not feed at all even with the motor drive unit running if the wire has fused to the tip, that leads to a kinking of the wire behind the feeder (spool side).......check also the backlash adjustment to keep the wire from spinning off the spool under load. Too tight will cause the outer cladding of the wire to strip off the core wire which will cause the core to adhere to the tip.
The oxygen regulator diaphragm is not holding.
it is not advised to replace anything in a regulator any wrong move on your part outside a dertified facility could cause a large explosion. Call ESAB Welding and order a new regulator there regulators have a lifetime guarantee and even if it is 30 yrs old they will replace it 100% free of charge

I have a miller 230 volt and it stopped welding
sounds like a diode or scr has blown, unplug unit take cover off look for burn marks, dont know the age of your unit,to know wether it has diodes or scr,s.these two items are gating systems for the amps unit is producing to work piece.
