Your tabet should have some kind of a File Manager in the apps main menu. Open it and look for the Download folder which should appear when you open the internal SD icon. Open the Download folder and you should see your downloaded files. You have the option to select one or more of them and the selected ones you should have the option to delete. Use the three dots in the upper right on most file manages to choose delete, copy move etc. Be extra sure you're in the Download folder before you delete anything, though.
