These walkie talkies are pretty simple to use. Turn on and turn the volume up and talk. So if you turn it on it is possible for there to be enough juice in the batteries to make the LED function but not enough to modulate (or talk) to the other walkie talkie. Have you tried to replacing the batteries with new ones yet? Sometimes recharge ables go bad and they are no good when you install them into your item. So make sure the batteries you installed are "new." And replace in both units. Should this not work, given the nature of the item and the age of those who will more than likely be using them, they break and soldier joints come loose. The back has a screw that is a specialty tool to remove. Outside of removing that and taking a look there is not much that can be done. Make sure to put at least 5 feet between the two radios to allow for good reception.

Ok so all you have to do is open the battery door so it wont turn on and then hold the camera record button on the top until I say so. Plug it into your comp and then wait. it should say found mass storage device. Then you will see it under my computer. You can just drag and drop copy and paste the vids and play them with windows media player. (you can let go of the button when windows detects it.)

One has to have a compatible operating system with the correct driver, Your computer operating system must be set for reading the USB port as a video device, f you are able to read any data from the scope you should also check firmware version against the manufacturer's latest revision. Also suggest you download the operator's manual from the manufacturer's site.

if the drivers fail to install on win7( no longer supported by Microsoft) try going to the publisher web page and downloading the drivers direct from there for win 7 if there is no microphone connection shown by the product before installation, might I suggest a program that has that connection listed or find out if a mic driver for the michrophone would solve the problem

Sorry, but there are no 64-bit drivers for the QX3. You need to find a Windows 7 system running the 32-bit operating system. The instructions for installing the QX3 with 32-bit Windows is document on this site. -Mark

Try NOT connecting your camera to your computer. The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries. Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files.
