How to turn on shower head of Delta monitor

I'm at my cousin's place and he has a delta monitor. Similar to what you guys are talking about.

To turn on the shower, I had to pull down on the faucet head, not the shower head.

To turn off the shower, I had to push the faucet head back up.

Hope this helps anybody out.

De Walt radial arm saw old model 7740. Am trying to restore it to working condition Very difficult to change the height adjustment due to binding when trying to turn the handle on the top.

The manual for the saw is included below, To free the height it may be best to remove the saw carriage from the arm to reduce the weight. Use WD40 or equivalent to cut the rust and a suitable grease to maintain the freedom. There is a worm screw that is below the cylinder that may need lubricating. The manual shows the assembly. I routinely apply 90 weight gear oil around the large tube where it goes into the housing, http://vintagemachinery.org/pubs/252/1213.pdf 26351737-byjyd4kzhh1rgh2pqslbdjkq-3-0.jpeg Hope this helps? http://vintagemachinery.org/pubs/detail.aspx?id=1213

Slow cold water flow in faucet.

Modern faucets are made to be 'Eco', so less water flow and lower water consumption. If the water flow is a lot more on the hot side, there there is a fault with the cold. There aren't many reasons. Stuck shut of valve. Disconnect the braided line and open the valve into a bucket. Or the ceramic cartridge in the faucet is not correctly lined up. Or remove the strainer on the head, they can block with debris. ..

Delta Charmaine faucet (19962TZ) set screw button

Try using a suction cup to pull the button out. Place the suction cup over the button and pull it outwards. The suction cup should create enough force to pull the button out. If the suction cup doesn't work, try using a strong magnet to pull the button out. Place the magnet over the button and pull it outwards. The magnet should create enough force to pull the button out. If the above methods don't work, try using a flathead screwdriver to pry the button out. Place the screwdriver under the button and gently pry it outwards. Be careful not to damage the button or the faucet. If this does not work, try customer support for Delta.

My Delta 23-197 variable speed grinder will not run. Only tried it once and it's been put up for a couple of years. Will not start. Light comes on. Has power

It's possible that the variable speed control may be the issue with your Delta 23-197 grinder. However, before attempting to bypass it, there are a few other things you can check. First, make sure that the grinder is properly plugged in and that the power outlet is functioning correctly. Check the power cord and make sure that there are no cuts or breaks in the cord. Next, check the switch and make sure that it is properly engaged. If the switch is faulty, it may need to be replaced. You can also check the brushes on the motor to see if they are worn out or damaged. If the brushes are worn out, they will need to be replaced. If none of these troubleshooting steps resolve the issue, it may be possible to bypass the variable speed control. However, this is not recommended unless you have experience with electrical wiring and understand the risks involved. If you do decide to bypass the variable speed control, you will need to identify the wiring that controls the speed control and connect the wires together to bypass the control. However, keep in mind that this will result in the grinder running at full speed all the time and may shorten the life of the motor. It's always best to have a qualified electrician or technician perform any electrical modifications to your tools.

How to either break or cut off a Delta single hand tap. I've tried everything to remove it?

Taps lock up and rust. Although the outside is nice and shiny chrome, the inside is brass and they use steel screws that rust in place. Turn off the water, replace the whole thing. Take the parts back where you got them and buy the new one. When you get the new one, remove screws and removeable parts and grease them up with Vaseline.

Brand new delta single handle shower valve won't shut off

If your new Delta single handle shower valve won't shut off, it could be due to an issue with the valve itself or with the installation. Some possible causes include a misaligned handle, debris in the valve body, or a faulty cartridge. It is best to check the installation instructions and ensure that everything is properly seated and aligned. If that does not solve the issue, you may need to contact Delta customer service for further assistance or consider hiring a plumber to diagnose and fix the problem.

Do I need more than drivers licence for id. to fly?flying delta and alaska airlines

To fly on both Delta and Alaska Airlines, you will generally need a valid government-issued identification (ID) to board your flight. This can be a driver's license, passport, or another form of government-issued ID. It is important to note that different countries and airlines may have different requirements for acceptable forms of ID, so it is best to check with the specific airline and the country you will be traveling to for their specific ID requirements. In general, it is a good idea to have a valid government-issued ID with you when traveling, as it may be required for a variety of purposes, such as checking in for your flight, passing through security, or verifying your identity while traveling. It is recommended to bring a passport if you are traveling internationally, as it is a widely accepted form of identification and also serves as proof of citizenship. If you are unsure about the ID requirements for your specific travel plans, it is recommended to contact the airlines or check their websites for more information.
