When you get to the next window, there is the download for your camera.
Download drivers and then do this.
Probably has corrupt driver.
Disconnect the Camera from the USB port and reinstall the CD or Downloaded software program. When the program asks you to connect the camera to the USB port, do so and it should work.
Then to use it on the Web, do this,

Web Camera’s have to be setup on the program they are to be used with. Just installing the camera on your computer does not set it up to broadcast on messengers or Skype.
Each program has Options that have to be setup in order for the Audio and Video to function properly.
A. Skype Setup:
After downloading and installing Skype (http://www.skype.com/intl/en-gb/download/skype/windows/beta/downloading/ ) set it up as follows:

1. Go to Tools, then Options, and click on Audio Settings and set the Microphone and Speakers to the computer Audio Card.
2. Then click on the Video Settings.
3. The camera if Installed Properly will come up and show a video picture.
4. Then, on the bottom of the page click on Save.

The camera and audio should function properly. Your friends and Family will now be able to see and her to you.

B. Yahoo Setup:
After downloading and installing Yahoo Messenger (http://www.soft32.com/download_30.html ) set it up as follows:

1. Go to Messenger at the top left and click on it.
2. Next go down to Preferences and click on it.
3. Next Calling and Devices on the right and set the Microphone and Speakers to the computer Audio Card.
4. Next go to the Test Audio section and (in blue writing) click on “Open the call setup assistant” and follow the instructions on the left window.

O.K., I solved this problem and got my SoundBlaster Extigy to work with Win 7 (64-bit machine). Here is what to do:Easy part: 1. Search your system for the old USBAUDIO.sys driver:C:\Windows\System32\DriverStore\FileRepository\wdma_usb.inf_9ce240de 2. Copy old USBAUDIO.sys, (d.02-11-2006) to usb or floppy Trickypart : 3. Go to C:\Windows\System32\Drivers Rightclick USBAUDIO.sys (d.19-04-2008)> Unlocker >Choose Delete4. Copy old USBAUDIO.sys, (d.02-11-2006) from usb or floppy to C:\Windows\System32\Drivers5. Reboot.6. At reboot, Windows will block the Extigy from starting "because the manufacturer's software was known to cause problems." Go into Device Manager (Right click Start button, Click Control Panel, Click Hardware and Sound, Click Devices Manager (under Devices and Printers section). You should see the Sound Blaster Extigy listed under Sound, video and game controllers7. Uninstall the Soundblaster Extigy in Device Manager (right click the device)...click Uninstall8. Close Device Manager9. Remove Extigy USB connector from laptop/computer for at least 10 secs. and Turn off Extigy, Sub-woofer, Speakers10. Now reconnectthe USB,11. Turn on Extigy, Sub-woofer, Speakers..... 12. Windows will now install the July 13 2009 device driver13. Right click on Speaker icon in taskbar....Click Playback Devices...Extigy should appear in the window along with any other playback devices installed on your computer.14. Click on Extigy...make it the Default Device15. Then, disable the internal speakers (in my case it was RealTech) and any other playback devices.16. Right click Extigy, select Test....it works!!If you don't have the Nov 2, 2006 driver, email me and we'll figure out a way to get it to you. I am asuming you have set the cam up in AOL settings, if so try making a short video with sound in windows movie maker 2, as this will help set up the cam for you. If it records ok you will know that it's a AOL software problem.

I know this is really old, but I just found a solution for this. I was having the exact same issues and a YT user named Andr? Green made a video showing that simply pointing a hair dryer blowing hot hair to the board while having it plugged in solves it. A few seconds later, it will power up and work perfectly.

The CD jumper cable goes to the CD IN on the audio card. It can go to either the CD or the DVD drive; it depends on which one you'll use for most of the AV discs. If you mostly listen to audio CDs in the CD drive, connect the jumper to that device. If you watch movies on DVDs and listen to CDs, connect the jumper to the DVD drive. Just make sure to put your audio CDs into that drive and not into the CD drive. The Aux port is for connecting to an internal TV tuner or other video capture card. The TAD port is for connecting the SB Live! card to a voice modem to make the computer a telephone answering device. Creative still has the documentation for the SB Live! audio cards on their support site. I found the driver. It is for some reason not listed at the creative support page. A search for "creative vf0250" in Google revealed the secret location though.

I just got it to work with Windows 7 using the XP driver software! Download and install the "LCNP_DRVAP_US_1_02_06_0627" package. Make sure your webcam is attached when you start the install!
