How to fix my garage door opener?
I'm assuming you mean that it won't close, only open? If that's the case then your eye beams may need to be adjusted. The wall button can override the sensors whereas the remotes can not.
My remote sends a signal, the opener indicator flashes, but the door does not open?
The learn button is located on the garage door opener unit itself that hangs from the ceiling. If you follow the gray antenna up to the unit you will see a red/orange button on the unit. That is the learn button. When you push that button and amber LED will light up either above or next to the learn button. This indicates that the garage door opener is now ready to learn a new device. Press and hold the button you want programed on the garage door opener remote and release it. The garage door opener will click and the garage door opener light will go off and come back on (if the light bulbs are in working order). The amber LED will go out, repeat if you need to program anything else.
Rest the opener?
You will find a button (smart/learn) just to the left of where all those white wires go on the Unit installed inside the garage to open the door. Press and hold it for 6 seconds. This will erase the memory in the opener and your remote should no longer work. Now press and hold the large button on your remote and then press and immediately release the smart/learn button on the garage unit. Your unit is now reprogrammed.
