Inspect the Wires:
Look for any loose or disconnected wires near the switch relay.
If you find a wire that has come off, identify its original position.
Reconnect the Wire:
Strip a small portion of the wire insulation if needed.
Reattach the wire to the appropriate terminal on the switch relay.
Ensure it is securely fastened.

Reassemble the casing or access panel.
Plug in the steamer and turn it on.
Check if the switch relay works properly.

My handheld Conair garment steamer is heating up but not producing steam. How do I fix this?

The fsp5 will not release steam
I had this for over 3 years stored as it would not produce steam. I was going to toss it and decided to see what the issue was. I am a fireman and familiar with pump mechanisms. I disassembled the unit and found that the check valve was incorrectly installed in the plastic pump device which draws water up from the reservoir and distributes it to the heat pan. Once I corrected it the machine makes steam and does a very good job of pressing. It is awkward to use for larger items and I am trying to figure out better ways to properly press shirts, etc.
Flat Iron is not heating up
There is no fuse. If you connected it to 220 which is common power in a lot of countries, then you ruined the heating element. time for a new iron.
