Thinking of buying this, but wondering if it can connect to computers and cameras

This is fine for planetary and lunar views with a camera. The mount is manual drive so not suitable for deep sky objects with a camera (except perhaps M42) Orion and Celestron make inexpensive, lightweight usb cameras for telescopes. Suggest you use the scope with your eyes until you get used to finding and tracking objects. Serious astro photographers use much bigger scopes with motorized GEM (German Equatorial Mount). Takes lots of practice and $$$

I need to have the mirror on my C-11 telescope cleaned. I'm in Seattle. Is there anyone local?

Don't do it! There is a lot of controversy over cleaning mirrors. Check out http://www.astronomyforum.net/forum.php or http://www.cloudynights.com/ubbthreads/ubbthreads.php?Cat if you do a search or post on either site you will have many informed people give you your options but unless squirrels have made a nest the normal advice is don't do it. Good luck.

My Advanced Series GT mount

Sometimes the pin in the mount needs to be spread out to make good contact.

Also several other things can cause this-- broken hand controller? Does the power light come on? The one on the power panel?

If it does you either have a bad hand controller or a bad hand controller cable.

If the light does not come on try a 12 volt battery pack-- still no light? Then return to Celestron for repair. Contact them here:
