My Canon MX320 printer showing error occurred 5b00.i follow what YouTube said and now it's saying service mode. And the alarm light is still blanking. What I should do next??
The error message "error occurred 5B00" on a Canon MX320 printer typically indicates a problem with the waste ink absorber. The waste ink absorber is a component in the printer that absorbs excess ink that is expelled during cleaning and other maintenance operations. When the waste ink absorber becomes full, it can cause this error to occur.
Here are a few things you can try to troubleshoot the problem:
- Reset the printer: You can reset the printer by unplugging it from the power source, waiting a few minutes, and then plugging it back in.
- Service mode: You can enter the service mode by pressing the "Menu" button, then "Copying", then "Functions", then "Maintenance" and then "OK". Once in service mode, you can try to reset the waste ink counter.
- Clean the print head: Clean the print head to ensure that the printer is properly aligned and functioning correctly.
- Replace the waste ink absorber: If the waste ink absorber is full, it will need to be replaced.

How can you help me fix my Canon MX320? It won't work, the green and yellow light flashing and it's says 5b00 error occurred. Can you help me please!!!
- Turn off the printer and unplug the power cord.
- Open the printer cover and locate the ink absorber. It is a small, sponge-like pad that absorbs excess ink.
- Use a dry cloth to gently clean the ink absorber and the surrounding area.
- Replace the ink absorber with a new one. If you do not have a replacement ink absorber, you can purchase one from the Canon website or from a third-party supplier.
- Reinstall the printer cover and plug the printer back in.
- Turn the printer back on and test it to ensure that the error message has been cleared.
If you are not comfortable with the process or don't have the necessary replacement parts it's better to contact canon's customer support, they will guide you through the process and make sure that the issue is resolved.

ALL COPIES BLANK. NOT LOW
Hello,
probably the problem is in laser shuter or toner cartridge pin in toner holder. But when you try to copy, when paper goes to the drum, open the right cover and produce paper jam, now look at drum for image, if on drum isnt image its laser problem...
If the laser shuter is faulty, these means that when you close the right door, the nose on door doesn't lift the laser shuter and so the laser unit cant write on drum.
If the toner crg. pin is faulty, when you insert toner in holder inside the copier, on right side of toner holder is small circle with pin that contacts the toner and gives voltage. You can apply some wd40 to that circle, that goes in and out when you open or close door.
But, probably is laser shuter... to check him you need to dismantle the copier.
Hope that helps!
Canon ir2520 jamming in the exit tray
If your Canon IR2520 is jamming in the exit tray after initializing the machine, it could be caused by a few different issues:
- Paper tray: Make sure that the paper tray is loaded correctly and that the paper is not jammed or loaded incorrectly. Also, check if the paper tray is not overfilled or if the paper is not wrinkled.
- Pick-up roller: The pick-up roller is responsible for picking up paper from the tray and feed it to the printer. Check if it is dirty or worn out.
- Exit guide: The exit guide is responsible for directing the paper out of the machine. Make sure that it is not blocked or bent, which could cause the paper to jam.
- Fuser: The fuser unit could be malfunctioning. The fuser is responsible for heating and fusing the toner to the paper. If it is not working properly, it could cause paper jams.
- Feed rollers: The feed rollers are responsible for feeding the paper through the printer. Check if they are dirty or worn out.
- Paper jam sensor: The paper jam sensor may be malfunctioning. If the sensor is not working correctly, it may not detect a jam and the printer will continue to try to feed paper through.
- It is recommended to check the copier's manual or consult with the manufacturer's technical support to troubleshoot the problem. They may provide more specific instructions for your specific model and can guide you through the process of finding and fixing the problem.
These are general suggestions and your specific case may require different actions.

I have a new Canon printer and the scanner cover won't go down. Does the printer need to be turned on?
or most Canon printers, including the Canon Pixma TR 8620, the scanner cover does not need to be closed for the printer to function properly. However, to use the scanner or copy functions, the scanner cover must be closed.
It is possible that the scanner cover is not locked in place properly, or that there is an obstruction preventing the cover from closing. You can try the following steps to fix the issue:
- Make sure the scanner cover is properly aligned and locked in place.
- Make sure there is no debris or foreign objects inside the scanner bed or on the scanner cover.
- Make sure the printer is turned on and that the scanner is properly connected to your computer or device.
- Check the printer's manual or the support page on Canon's website to see if there is any troubleshooting or instructions specific to your printer model.
If the problem persists, it may be a mechanical issue with the scanner cover or the printer itself, and it may require service from a qualified technician.

Canon IR 2520 Copier showing Paper jam when powering
If your Canon IR 2520 copier is showing a "paper jam" error message when powering on, but there is no paper in the fuser, it could be caused by a few different things:
- A sensor problem: The copier may have a malfunctioning sensor that incorrectly detects a paper jam in the fuser. This sensor might need to be cleaned or replaced.
- Wiring issue: There may be a problem with the wiring that connects the sensor to the main circuit board. A broken wire or loose connection could be causing the sensor to malfunction.
- Software issue: The copier's software may have a bug causing it to display the "paper jam" error message even when there is no paper in the fuser.
- Mechanical problem: The fuser assembly may have a mechanical issue, such as a jammed gear or roller preventing the copier from correctly sensing that there is no paper in the fuser.
It is best to have a professional technician diagnose the issue. They will be able to identify the specific cause of the problem and make the necessary repairs.
It's also important to check the owner's manual for troubleshooting options or error codes that might be displayed on the copier.
If the copier is still under warranty, it is recommended to contact the manufacturer for service.
