Unfolding the Chassis - Handlebar Loose
I had the same problem... the handlebar would 'un-pop' and shake around a lot making the whole stroller unsteady. I started to get all upset and worried about sending it back but i decided to clean it first. After using the silicon spray from the maintenance kit on the joints of the stroller IT WORKS LIKE NEW! yay! Try this before assuming its broken :)
I require new plastic clips on straps or just
For a secondhand seat base you could try Buggypitstop in the UK or Karlisle's in Australia a google will find them. You could just laminate a bit of thin plywood to your base. Mountain Buggy use the same clips and do sell them as parts shop.mountainbuggy.com/parts/pre-2010/swift/complete-harness this does require a local seamstress to fit as you have to unpick the webbing and then re-sew it. The clips are actually made by YKK a huge international zip manufacturer, do a google there may be a local agent,
I have the Bugaboo
The button on the side is the release but the ratchet design requires the lever to go up slightly to release. If the cable is set to tight and the brake put on hard it can be difficult to release. Try backing the cable adjuster off a bit. You need to have a play with that adjuster to find the best spot that locks the wheels but allows enough free movement of the cable to let the lever move slightly up to release.
If anyone finds this helpful please tick the box to say so. If it's not let me know.
I can't get the car
The white buttons on the adaptors should just push in and then you lift off. If it's stuck try using some silicon spray and brute force.
Hi, when I open my
The chassis is locked by the seat or bassinet unit clicking down onto the black prongs that stick up from the central hubs. It would be mechanically impossible for the front wheel assembly to swing back if the seat was fully engaged into the hub as it has a large plastic block that fits into the hubs to lock them. Remove the seat check for any obvious damage, spray some silicone spray on the prongs and the square white lock buttons. Wipe of excess with a paper towel than try to fit seat again.
How can you change the straps on a bugaboo frog
The straps are built in and Bugaboos solution is buy a new seat. The Bugaboo uses the same plastic buckle components as the Mountain Buggy, Mountain Buggy sell these as separate parts. If you want to unpick the buckle end and sew back new buckles thats the most economical solution. YKK the international Zip maker also have similar buckle systems.
How do you pack a bugaboo travel bag? It does not
You can find detailed instructions on at www.bugaboo.com/userguides but short the answer is yes the back wheels have to come off to fit in the bag. There's a simple wire spring you compress with your fingers where the stub axel fits into the frame.
We put the swivel hub
I'm assuming you put the front wheels on from the wrong side. You need two large screwdrivers to slip down between the top stub of the wheel and the tube of the frame to press the two tabs in to release the wheel. I use a short piece of pipe that slips over the stub and pushes the tabs in.
