Lincoln 100 with gas. Was working fine then suddenly when I pull the trigger it appears to experience an internal short circuit.

It sounds like there may be a problem with the internal circuitry of your Lincoln 100 welder. Given that the welder is tripping the breaker and dimming the lights in the garage, there may be a significant amount of current passing through a fault in the machine's electrical system.

I would recommend that you do not attempt to operate the welder until the issue has been resolved. Welding equipment can be dangerous if not properly maintained and operated, and it's important to take safety precautions to avoid injury or damage to your property.

Since you've already inspected the inside of the welder and didn't find anything obvious, it may be best to take it to a qualified repair technician. They will have the expertise and equipment to diagnose and fix any problems with the machine's electrical system.

Alternatively, you can contact the manufacturer's customer service for guidance or recommendations on qualified repair technicians in your area. They may also be able to provide additional troubleshooting steps to help diagnose the issue.

In any case, safety should always be your top priority when working with electrical equipment.

Marquette Model 64 Farm Welder wiring diagram please?

Question edited for a lot more clarity, 'make model (what it is)' in the correct order. The thing about Speech to Text, is that you MUST go back through it and add punctuation or it all runs into one sentence. I did that for you as well into what I think you thought you were saying! This is an antique from the early 1950s. There is a picture of the inside wiring here https://weldingweb.com/vbb/threads/703256-Old-Marquette-Welder-wiring-question Manual for a Model 60 and 60C https://www.ebay.com/itm/115540831572 More here https://www.google.com/search?q=Marquette++Model+64+Farm+Welder+wiring+diagram ..

I have a miller 250 nt, it will stay running when the switch is on run but when i turn the switch to run/idle it runs for a second then cuts off

If you do not have the manual, you can download it for ftee here:http://www.millerwelds.com/service/ownersmanuals.php?modelThings to check would be make sure the fuel solenoid is functional, and wired to the ignition switch correctly. Also check to make sure idle speed is set correctly. If you can keep it running operating the throttle linkage manually when switched over to run/idle, the linkage itself may not be the correct length or the idle speed is out of adjustment. Also check for loose wiring to the ignition circuit or bent kill contact. It might also be some dirt in the carb bowl or low float level. Float should sit level with air horn inverted and just the weight of the float on the inlet needle valve.

My sa 200 will not rev up when trying to strike an arc it will rev up when you use the grinder

Magnetic reed switch near output is probably bad. Look for coil behind front panel, there is a small glass tube inside, with 2 small wires.

Campbell Hausfeld WF2050 Wire Feed Arc Welder that has overheated.

Overheating can cause damage to the internal components of a welder, including the wire feed motor, transformer, and electronic components. It's possible that the high setting on your Campbell Hausfeld WF2050 welder has been damaged due to the overheating. You may need to check the high setting circuitry to see if there are any visible signs of damage, such as melted wires or burnt components. If you're not familiar with electrical components, it may be best to have a qualified technician or electrician check the welder for you. Alternatively, it's also possible that the wire feed motor may have been damaged during the overheating. A damaged wire feed motor can cause the wire to feed improperly, which can affect the quality of the weld. You may need to check the wire feed motor to see if it's functioning properly. In any case, it's important to address the overheating issue to prevent further damage to your welder. Make sure that the welder is being used in a well-ventilated area and that the cooling fan is working properly. Additionally, make sure that the welder is not being overloaded by using the appropriate amperage setting for the job.

I have a Hobart 251 mig welder and when I turn it on the wire comes out of the the gun and won't stop till I shut it off ?

If the wire feed on your Hobart 251 MIG welder won't stop when you turn it on, there could be a few possible causes. Here are a few things to check:
  1. Check the trigger on the MIG gun: Make sure that the trigger on the MIG gun is not stuck or damaged. If the trigger is stuck in the "on" position, it will cause the wire to continuously feed.
  2. Check the wire feed motor: The wire feed motor could be faulty or jammed, causing the wire to feed continuously. Try disconnecting the wire feed motor from the welder and see if the wire still feeds. If it does not, then the motor is likely the problem.
  3. Check the wire spool: Make sure that the wire spool is installed correctly and is not jammed or tangled. If the wire is not feeding smoothly from the spool, it could cause the wire to feed continuously.
  4. Check the wire feed control settings: Ensure that the wire feed control settings are set correctly. If the wire feed speed is set too high, it could cause the wire to feed continuously.
If none of these solutions resolve the issue, it may be best to contact a qualified technician or the manufacturer for further assistance.

Campbell Hausfeld flux core 80 wire feed welder model wf2000 wire feeder inverter

If the wire feeder is not working, it's possible that one or more of the wires you reconnected are not in the correct position or may have come loose. Double check to make sure all the wires are securely attached and in the correct order. It's also possible that the wire feeder motor itself may be faulty or damaged, especially if it was not working properly before you opened it up. You could try testing the motor with a multimeter to see if it is getting power and functioning correctly. Finally, make sure that the wire spool is loaded correctly and that the tension on the wire is set properly. If the wire is not feeding correctly, it could be due to a problem with the spool or tension.

My Miller Dynasty 300 isn't putting out any current to stick weld?

The issue you're experiencing with your Miller Dynasty 300 not putting out any current to stick weld could be caused by a few different things. Here are some things you can try to fix the problem:
  1. Check the power source to ensure it is providing the correct voltage and amperage.
  2. Check the power cord to ensure it is properly connected and not damaged.
  3. Check the ground clamp to ensure it is properly connected and not damaged.
  4. Check the welding cables to ensure they are properly connected and not damaged.
  5. Check the contact tips to ensure they are not worn or damaged, and that the correct size is being used for the wire being used.
  6. Check the wire feeder to ensure that it is properly adjusted and functioning correctly.
  7. Check the circuit breaker or fuses to ensure they are not tripped or blown.
  8. If the above steps do not resolve the issue, it may be best to take the welder to a professional technician or contact the manufacturer for further assistance or service.
It is important to note that, the above steps are general troubleshooting steps, and the actual problem can be caused by different things, so it is best to consult a service manual for your specific Miller Dynasty 300 welder or contact the manufacturer for more detailed and accurate information.

Miller 22G high idle issues

The toroid transformer (looks like a donut) has wires, and connectors which feed a small voltage to the idle module. Since works with grinder, I'd look for corroded connections including rusty grounds. It takes one volt ac to idle mod to trigger.

My 2012 Lincoln classic 300d welder, while I'm welding it will just idle down

If it's a Perkins engine, odds are that you need a rebuild kit for the governor or a new governor to maintain the idle. It's a fairly common issue and repair.

Miller Pipe Pro 304 doesnt weld but generator does work . the numbers on display lights up for a second when first starting up but then go off. which board is the problem?

one of your PC boards may have come loose. Maybe worth popping off your cover and checking it out for yourself, see if any of the boards are loose. Is the unit mounted on rubber? If not that can help keep it from shaking itself apart. Best to you

Hobart Handler 135 wire feed is way to slow on the normal setting I run it at. When I turn it up it works better but just clumps my welds. What could be the issue? Any help would be great

This could be a PWM issue with the controller or the pinch rollers for the feed are worn or slipping,

Used my brand new Rossi 130 a gasless mig welder & after 10 minutes the wire feed stopped,

The only things that come to mind after your checks are a spool not set in completely, a stripped spool or a spool drive shaft failure of some kind. so...make surenthe spool is not stripped, its seated all the way and if so is the drive shaft for the spool and/or feeder pulleys all moving. If nothing is moving anywhere but you hear the actuator motors turning inside you have a warranty issue.

Wire feed is stop and go. Whats bindding the wire? cleaned drive wheel to make sure no grease etc.

A lot of wire feeding problems can be cured by changing the contact tip. It only takes a little contamination, weld splatter, arcing to cause the symptoms you've described. With over 40 years experience with wire feed welder I've found that 9 out of ten times feeding problems are tip related. The drive roll tension cab sometimes cause the symptoms you're describing. Also keeping your mig torch as straight as possible, no curls or bends will help eliminate feeding issues.
