I have a smith & wesson D.A. 45 ser# 1800 33 my grand father bought used in 1927 I would like to know how old it is
It sounds like you have a Smith & Wesson D.A. 45 revolver that was purchased by your grandfather in 1927. According to the serial number you provided, the revolver was likely manufactured between 1908 and 1909.
Smith & Wesson began using serial numbers on their firearms in the late 1800s, and the serial number can be used to determine the approximate age of the firearm. The first two digits of the serial number indicate the year of manufacture, while the remaining digits are used to identify the specific firearm within that year's production.
It's worth noting that the age of a firearm can be affected by a variety of factors, including when it was shipped and when it was actually sold. Additionally, the serial number on a firearm may have been altered or modified, which can make it difficult to accurately determine the age of the firearm.
Skaters will not move on ice skating rink
if ice skates you have to shift your weight from side to side to propel skates on the ice. put weight on right foot and move skate to right with weight. then lift skate and bring back to centre. now put weight on left foot and move skate to left with weight. then lift skate and bring back to centre. do the right foot and then the left foot.
My new treadmill, Nautilus T7.18
I have worked on similar units like this in the past and in my experience the problem is almost always the data running between the motor and the control panel.
As a safety mechanism , when the control panel loses "communication' with the motor , it shuts down the unit to prevent a runaway treadmill.
If you are able to open the unit up and check all the connections from the motor to the control panel , this would probably be your best bet. The connectors are probably male-female type and this can easily disconnect if a bad connector was used or because of vibration. It could also be the magnetic rev-counter but this is not as likely.
As the unit is new, I would just take it back to the store , as this will be covered by the warranty. If you bought it without warranty or second hand , I would open it up , check the connections are secure and possibly replace the magnetic counter. If this is not the problem , there is probably a hardware error in the circuits of the control panel.
Good luck and feel free to contact me if you need more information.
Kind Regards
Stephan
Replacing the battery in a Omron HJ-002
Hi,
please look for any compartment with an energy or charging sign on it to identify the battery location. There might be a button or section to press and pull to open the battery compartment. If you don't see these indicators, please verify the battery location and exchange process within your product manual.
Thank you.
