Tip Title: Maximizing Refrigerator Efficiency with Airport Appliance
Are you looking to optimize the performance of your refrigerator? Follow these tips to ensure your appliance runs efficiently, keeping your food fresh and energy costs down:
1. **Temperature Control:** Set your refrigerator to the recommended temperature (usually around 37°F or 3°C) and the freezer at 0°F or -18°C. This ensures optimal food preservation without unnecessary energy consumption.
2. **Proper Organization:** Arrange food items strategically to allow for proper air circulation. This not only helps maintain consistent temperatures but also makes it easier to find items, reducing the time the door is open.
3. **Regular Cleaning:** Keep the coils and vents clean to promote efficient heat exchange. Dust and debris can accumulate over time, forcing the refrigerator to work harder to maintain the desired temperature.
4. **Check Door Seals:** Ensure that the door seals are tight and free from cracks. A proper seal prevents cold air from escaping and warm air from entering, helping your refrigerator maintain its set temperature.
5. **Avoid Overloading:** While refrigerators are designed to hold a significant amount of food, overloading can impede airflow and make the compressor work harder. Maintain a balanced and organized interior.
6. **Energy-Saving Mode:** If your refrigerator has an energy-saving mode, consider activating it. This feature adjusts the appliance's operation to conserve energy during periods of lower usage.
By incorporating these tips into your refrigerator maintenance routine, you can enjoy a more efficient appliance, lower energy bills, and longer-lasting freshness for your stored goods. Kenmore Elite won't cool.
How to trouble shoot
Kenmore Elite is a who range of appliance, but as you are in Kenmore Refrigerators category, let's assume it's that. All questions need full 'make model (what it is)' first 3 words please.
The only easy thing to do would be to make sure the condenser fins are clear of fluff, the compressor is running, the compressor fan is running and the internal circulation fan is running. If it is a fridge with freezer above, a blockage at the back of the freezer due to a failed defrost heater can cause an issue where no cold air drops into the fridge.
The other possibility is low refrigerant gas, but that is not something you can rectify yourself.
Check the condenser coils to determine if they are dirty-if the condenser coils are dirty, clean them. Verify the freezer temperature is set between 0 and 5 degrees Fahrenheit (-18 to -15 Celsius). Verify the refrigerator temperature is set between 34 and 40 degrees Fahrenheit (1 to 5 Celsius).

My fridge, isn't freezing or cooling. The light is on and fan is going round. It's a frost free Beko.
Question edited for clarity and correct spelling of make and correctly Capitalised.
Question moved from 'Frost Refrigerators' to Beko.
Check the condenser coils are free of dust and debris.
Turn off for 15 minutes by removing the wall plug. This is a power reset if your unknown, unstated model has an electronic board.
Or it needs a new thermistor or a gas top up in which case you need a service call.
