Microwave Ovens - Recent Questions, Troubleshooting & Support

There are two parts to a Combination Microwave, a traditional element and fan, plus a microwave function. The element is a home consumer type fix, but for anything to do with the microwave function, you need a service technician. It is far too dangerous to work with microwave energy. The other consideration is that the case is held together with security screws. On top of all that, it is a built in unit which gives its own set if problems accessing it! Call a technician.

If your home doors have screws or screw plugs on the interior side of that of the window frame then, it can be replaced. You can purchase these glass inserts at the original dealer from where you have purchased your door from. In case you are not sure of the dealer then, you can go to any independent dealer for purchasing a glass unit from their exterior doors catalog. However, if you have bought a decorative glass insert that was purchased from a home center then, you will have to go to that particular home center and need to give them a special order for a new glass unit.

I used https://www.google.com to search for a manual for the EVE623SA.
Page 20 of the manual gives the following instructions. Please comment to let us all know if it works for you.

1. Ensure the oven is in the off state. Press and hold the + button until a beep sounds. The 'Demo' text will begin to flash.
2. While holding the + button turn the function selector to the first oven function until another beep is heard.
3. Then turn the function selector to the 'off' position.
4. Release the + button.
5 Toggle and hold the temperature selector to the right (+) until 3 beeps sound.

I had a similar one in a commercial kitchen. Most likely is a failed safety microswitch on the door. There are three or 4. It may also be the transformer. Well worth taking it to a Panasonic dealer for evaluation. I had one that needed a new microswitch. Cheap fix that took 30 minutes.

H97 means the magnetron has lost its power. Caused by a failure of either the magnetron, power supply or both.

Take it in to a service centre. You can't fix it yourself.
