Quoting from link above:

"Delta Airlines (DL) allows 1 carry-on bag and 1 personal item (purse, briefcase, laptop bag) per passenger fee free.
Carry-on should not exceed the following size and weight restrictions:
  • 45 linear inches (22 x 14 x 9 in) or 115 centimeters (56 x 36 x 23 cm) including handles and wheels.
  • Fit in the overhead bin or under the seat in front of you.
  • Personal item should be of proper size to fit under the seat in front of you
  • A jacket, umbrella, diaper bag, duty free items, and assistive devices (wheelchairs, walkers, crutches, strollers, child restraint seats, etc.) do not count towards your carry-on allowance.
NOTE: Bulkhead seats do not have under seat storage, therefore, all carry-on baggage must be stowed in the overhead bin during take-off and landing."

Call the manufacturer and they'll most likely help you out, if not a local upholstery shop should handle that without any issue!

Pull gently on the catch and turn the furthest dial and you will feel that number release. Then do the same with the middle number until you feel that one release. Then same again with the closest numbers.

I've been on a lot of ski trips in the past and some of my best tips include:

  • Research your resort
If you have some free time before your trip, doing some research into your resort can really help your trip to run more smoothly. I always check weather forecasts and find out more about the facilities. Often I will book my favorite restaurants as well so that I'm not disappointed after a long day on the slopes. This was really helpful when I went to Lake Louise, as I'd never been on a ski trip in Canada before, so it meant I was a little bit more prepared.

  • Plan some off days
When I go on ski trips, I always make sure I have one or two days where I don't ski. This gives your body time to relax and gives you some time to enjoy the other facilities at your resort.
