Damaged parts around the screw peg

I have the same problem but no such luck in resolving through customer service for free as suggested. I was told unless the purchaser purchased the extended warranty, the standard was 60 days only.

They were able to provide a complete new base for a tax total of $49.99 inclusive of shipping. This is not such a bad deal relative to purchasing a new one.

If I were to buy one new today though, I think I would research an alternative product since this design is flawed and they obviously are not interested in solving it and producing happy customers.

I am certain there are others that produce a good machine and will stand behind their designs. My internet research revealed many people suffering from this same problem.

I had the customer service rep review this page and thread with me while on the phone and he did not seem to care a whole lot. He further stated that the threaded white piece is not available as a replacement part; only the entire base as priced above.

So anyone researching to purchase a Jack Lalanne power juicer take note of how they stand behind faulty or flawed designs. They are not fully commited to the "outstanding last a life time product" like their marketing implys.

Pomegranate

Well ya can juice 'em but it's a bit labour intensive .. lol 'cause ya gotta skin 'em, and get ALL the "Seeds" out, they taste bad... then put the pulp in.. and juice away... yield is low also .. but tastes real nice in the end.. I usually do it in a plastic bag,and tip the pulp into the juicer. Ya can make great "leathers" too..
