My omega 8003 juicer will not power on
1. test for power at female end of cord? (eliminates, breaker, socket, cord, plugs, all wiring to appliance. I think this appliance is hard wired at the connection, so you may need a non-contact tester.
How to remove strainer/grater from vitamin bar juicer
I am assuming your juicer is the same as mine. The JC-6 White with "Vitamin Bar" and a carrot on the front.
There is most likely a tool that you insert in the back slot, but since I don't know of one, I had to get creative.
First unplug the juicer and undo the side locks, remove the clear cap. Look in the back, there is a 2-inch wide slot where you can see the motor and locking mechanism.
Take a butter knife and hold the mechanism in place. Use your other hand or have a partner spin the mesh/bladed bowl counter-clockwise.
With just some effort and a small "pop" noise, the piece should be free.
I searched forever for a solution, I hope someone with a similar plight finds this helpful.
Error message
I fixed my juicer that had this problem, the problem was the thermal fuse which is located directly on the motor with some plastic covering it. You can replace the fuse or do what I did and just cut off the fuse and attach the two wires together (no more fuse) and my machine now works again :)
How to replace latch arm for omega 1000 juicer?
Getting the old one out is the hardest part if the arm was broken off like mine. First locate the rectangular part where the arm attaches to the case. If the old arm, or most of it, is still attached, grasp it and pull firmly away from the case until you hear a click. Then, still pulling it away from the case, push it up toward the top of the case until it slides out. If the arm is broken off you have to pry it from the top until you hear the click. I used a small paring knife. Once you get it this far, wedge something like a toothpick behind it to keep it pulled away from the case. Then you need to push this push this part up. It is pretty tight so you might want to use some type of tool, like the blade of a flat screwdriver. Once you get the old one out, putting the new on in is just the reverse of taking the old one out.
Unable to take juiceman apart to clean
Generally you will have good luck with this item - however after using it for a while here is the problem people are stating in other reviews. You cannot get the basket our for cleaning. Unfortunately there are no instructions or troubleshooting or anything on the manufacturer's website for fixing this..
Here's the problem...There are 3 little captured balls on the basket that engage into holes into the juicer to hold it into place when you load it. The problem is that over time - the balls get juice in them. Then you store the thing with the basket locked into the juicer. Then from sitting in your cupboard - the juice dries and the balls are stuck. When they get very sticky they do not float in their cavity they are stuck. Then after you juice the next time - you cannot get basket off. basket is stuck and you will destroy the juicer if you try to pry it out with excessive force.
If you have this problem and you are lucky enough to be reading this - I have figured out the fix on my own...
You need to fill up a large tupperware, rubbermaid, whatever - bowl about 3 inches deep with hot water. Then take the juicer with the clear cover off and flip it upside down and into the hot water. Make sure the water is covering the entire basket area, but not so deep it goes into the motor area. I let it soak for about 3 hours, but I don't think you will need to do it for that long. When I took it out of the water I was able to pry the basket out with very little force. This is when I discovered this flawed design with the balls.
I used it probably for a year or so about 40 or 50 times without this issue, but let it sit for about 4 months - which is why I believe it caused these balls with juice in them to get so frozen I couldn't remove it.
Good luck. It worked for me.. this should work for you!

If you Google your query you will be able to find the manufacturer, they should be able to help you with a manual for this model. I hope this is of some help.
