Check to see if you have 120 volts (Could range from about 115 to 120). I would check for a bad wall switch, then to see if the wiring at the disposer is properly connected. If all that is in place, you probably need to replace the disposer.

TURN OFF POWER before sticking your hand in.!! But first check the reset button underneath the unit. Also, try to rotate the spinner with hex key usually provided.

The disposal has to be lifted firmly ... place a block of wood under disposal to protect ... use small bottle jack to lift,,

Sometimes the disposal rotor is jammed by a piece of chicken bone for example. You can use the supplied hex key to stick into a hole at the bottom and jiggle the rotor free.
