I still owe university, why is nsfas not paying my education yet?
Hello, Ikaneng -
You will need to contact the National Student Financial Aid Scheme (NSFAS, South Africa) directly and ask.
This is the link to the NSFAS website:
http://www.nsfas.org.za/content/
At the top of that web page you will see both a telephone number you can call (during weekday office hours) and an email address where you can send an email with your question.
Note: Fixya.com is intended as a website for asking and answering questions on how to go about REPAIRING _THINGS_.
Since you are or have been a university student, I suggest you become familiar with your university's library and become familiar with asking questions (of all sorts) of one of the librarians there.
I am a librarian by profession in the USA.
Best wishes.
Is Nsfas still open?
Hello, Sanelisiwe -
Fixya.com is not the best website for asking about the South African National Student Financial Aid Scheme. It is intended as a website for asking and answering questions on repairing _things_.
I feel you need to talk (by telephone or in person) with someone at NSFAS directly. This is the link to the home page:
http://www.nsfas.org.za/content/
You will find the telephone number for General Enquiries here:
http://www.nsfas.org.za/content/ContactCentre.html
I am a librarian by profession in the USA. Here's a tip for you, in South Africa . . . if you have a local library supported by public / government funds, go there and ask your questions of a librarian. He / she will no doubt prove helpful and direct you appropriately.
Does NSFAS fund if I do Non Degree Purposes?
Hello, Tshepo -I hope I am correct in thinking you reside in South Africa and are asking about the National Student Financial Aid Scheme (NSFAS.)If so . . .First, Fixya.com is a website intended for asking and answering questions about repairing _things_.Second, many of those who volunteer to answer questions on Fixya are in the USA. I am answering from the USA. I am a librarian by profession and took pity on you before another Fixya answerer provided a rude answer to youYou will need to contact someone knowledgeable at NSFAS directly and ask your question and any others relevant to financing your university education. This is the link to the NSFAS home page:
http://www.nsfas.org.za/content/If you scroll down that page, in the lower right corner you will see telephone numbers for NSFAS. I suggest you call one of those numbers, during weekday office hours, so you can talk with a real person and ask your questions.Best wishes.

My nsfas apllication status
How long since you filed? If it's been more then 45 days, I'd write or email them and tell them it's been way to long. What's my statue. If you don't get any satisfaction, the best thing to do is to cancel this application and start over. I know that's a pain but that is what I'd do. Good Luck
If I change the instutetion is possible to move with Nsfas
yes it is very possible and frankly there are easier ways to do it. The most important thing that you can do with your computer is to FIRST backup all important data like for example anything in My Documents or on your desktop. all your bookmarks or favorates from your browser. Google drve is free is one suggestion. Or backup to dvd's. Then make sure that you have a good recovery disks or restore disk if need be. You can never have too many backups. One thing that you might consider doing is hire to have someone come over and do it for you and take notes and ask questions It would be well worth the cost to do so if you are not certain how to do things. If you need more help let someone here know. Good luck.
