Clothes dryer'want get hot ,new heat elment
Probably the thermal control is no longer working, make sure you have power on the element when heating up.
If there isn't, work backwards towards the mains input side to fault find.

On a cabrio whirlpool dryer what does E4 and F4 codes mean
A "F4E4" (Low or No Line Voltage) code indicates there may be a problem with your home power supply, keeping the dryer's heater from turning on. The dryer will continue to run when this diagnostic code is present. Touch any pad to clear the code from the display and return to the estimated time remaining.
The lint filter does not fit properly in the lint
We have the same model and experience the same thing. The way I fix it is to remove the filter, then with a flash light I look down into the lint trap. You will notice that lint has built up in the track where the lint filter sits. I use a wooden skewer to run along the track and lift out the lent. Hope that helps
DRYER WALL DUCT TOO SMALL / CRIMPED END OF VENT TOO BIG? What to do?
Hello HeatherGood to see you again. The outlet on the back of the dryer is 4" and the wall duct has a 4" tail. The ducting flexible hose made to fit on the outside of both. You fix with large hose clamps. It sound like you are trying to put the dryer into the wall duct? That is not the right way. You have to have hose even if it is 10" worth, that has 4" inside diameter for both the dryer and the wall duct. The new magnetic connector make thing very easy. The parts and the videos are in the link
