My main line sack in my house is crack how much

Like the other answers said, it depends on how bad the damage is, the difficulty level in fixing it, and whether or not there's an expensive part to be replaced. For instance, it's far cheaper to fix a leaky faucet than a water heater problem. When looking for contractors, you might want to check their licenses, experience, and reviews. Even if your budget might be tight, it's best not to book the first one you've encountered just because they're cheap. At the same time, you might want to ensure that their cost is reasonable for the services to be rendered and any parts that should be replaced. If need an emergency plumber in Guildford who can attend to your needs right away, contact https://first1right.com/service/plumbing/. They even offer various payment options such as VISA, Mastercard, Maestro, Contactless, Android Pay, and Apple Pay. It's good to know that you can hire them and pay via credit card if you don't have the cash to deal with your plumbing emergency.

Can someone help a plumbing novice out please with my waterfall mixer taps grub grate key

99% of the time it's a small Allen. Sizes differ. It will be one the small to mid sized ones though. I put them on all the time. If its corroded just be patient and try all of them. Don't force anything, and make sure it's a snug fit in the screw. If you round it off by using a key that's too small you're going to have to cut it off. You got this

My grohe drain stopper is not holding in closed position. Is there a solution.

If it is a press and lock style, some of them can be pulled out and adjusted to make for more clearance so the locking mechanism has room to work. If it's the style that uses a pull rod from behind the spout, then the circular nut that holds the pop-up rod into the drain directly under the sink. If that's loose, then it won't allow the pop up to stay in place. Hope this helps

How to clean a sink flotec pump

It sounds like the float is stuck. Try pulling the wires coming out of the tank(shake them a little) and see if that will free the float and shut the pump off

Philips screw that holds parts to 1225 cartridge just turns, stripped? how do I get that out

you can try to tap handle loose and pull up on it to remove crew. Personally I would change faucet and supply lines, and not not look back.

Yes you need to replace as a complete Cartridge Repair Kit. Once they wear, you can't fiddle with them and make them better.

Moen motion sensor faucet

Check the power to it, battery or transformer unit. Ensure that the data cable and power source cable (battery pack or AC adapter) are plugged in tight and secure. Check Batteries: If using a battery pack, ensure the batteries are installed correctly and are snug in the battery holder. Loose batteries can cause the faucet to operate erratically. Sept 24, 2020

Have Taboret K 8201-4 bathroom faucet with T handles.

Question edited to fix the typos. Always worrying when they discontinue lines, and it makes you wonder why? https://www.us.kohler.com/us/taboret-centerset-bathroom-sink-faucet-with-lever-handles/productDetail/product:420060/420060.htm I normally find that they use steel screws and they stick. Make some sort of a dam around the screw with stout polythene like Ziploc bag and electrical tape to seal the base. Then squirt penetrating oil or WD40 in there to cover the screw head. Top it up a couple of times a day and do that for two days. That should loosen it up and get the oil down the threads. Often it is just easier to buy a new set.

Reverse Osmosis air gap faucet leaking.

this is an easy fix and quite common. I found that removing the drain line where saddle is mounted and clean it from the inside. A common leaking problem in most taps is the "air gap leak." It occurs when water leaks through the hole on an air gap faucet. An air gap is a vital component of the reverse osmosis system. It prevents the back flow of water into the reverse osmosis unit. Instead, the air gap directs the excess water into the drain lines. When a lot of debris accumulates in the drain line, it clogs up, creating back pressure that forces water to flow out through the air gap. Unfortunately, the back flow can flood your countertop. To fix this problem, remove all the debris accumulated in your drain line to allow water to flow smoothly. You can use a wire brush or a pipe cleaner to clean out the drain line, starting from the end connected to the system's drain saddle. You should also clean the system's drain saddle and ensure that it's properly aligned with the drain line. That's because the drain saddles can sometimes shift away from the drain lines. To avoid air gap leaks completely, treat the drain line regularly using a natural cleaner that can dissolve the solids blocking it. Also, avoid flushing big chunks of food down the drain line.

My GE 153 will fill and drain but will not spin or agitat

The main motor is not running. I suspect water damage to the controller, probably corrosion on the motor wiring terminals. Also check the motor itself for signs of corrosion, especially at the terminals and the centrifugal switch housing at the end opposite the pulley..

I have a star water sump pump and it is just

Assuming nothing is jamming the impellor it sounds like a capacitor fault. Sometimes these are built in to the pump which can be a pain to get to. Normally near the handle where the cable enters the pump. If your lucky it will be mounted in a control box. Small cylindrical item about 3 inches long. Prob around 10, 12 or 16 micro farad. Easy to change, 2 wires not essential which way round
