41A5021-3H craftsman garage door opener has 5 flashing lights on logic board.
You may be better served to replace the opener. I had 2 craftsman openers they were not worth the price of repair parts. Replace them with chamberlain from Home depot, Tried anther brand from Home depot but took it back.

Liftmaster garage door opener stuck
Since the garage door only opens with the door unattached I would first check your garage door torsions springs. The garage door opener actually does not lift the door. The springs actually do the lifting. The most likely solution to your problem. Best Wishes, Frank Security Door Gate and Fence.

How do you adjust the tension for self closing doors
Questions moved from Cars and Trucks Category to Doors.
It depends on the type:
Hydraulic that fix at the top of the door? There are two screws, they are normally on the end. There are two, one says 'CLOSE' and the other says 'LATCH'. Close is the first one that comes into play when you let go of the door and then Latch take over and shuts the door to lock with just the right amount of force. The screws only need SMALL movements.
Or
Peeko - Type door closers. These are fixed in the centre of the hinge door edge and frame edge and join the door to the frame with a chain that looks like a bicycle chain. For those, you open the door, slip a small nail in the chain near the frame. Undo the fitting in the door. Turning the chain and fitting tightens or loosens the spring on the door frame.

Rotting outside door and frame
Good quality timber, properly treated and painted with knotting where needed,1 coat of primer, 1 coat of undercoat and two coats of topcoat. On a hardwood stained door, at least 6 coats, with a new coat added every 2 years.
Also fix any issues with water that is dripping or remaining near the wood.
